Chapter One

~Chapter One~

Today, started off as it always does and was pretty normal, untill lunch. At our school, we get an hour at lunch so I just eat and then read or talk to my few friends.

But, it didn't go as I had planned. Noah Dallas, the popular 17 year old boy, was walking over to my lunch table. Mine of all lunch tables. He sat down, flipping his ligh brown fringe to the side and gave me his award winning smile.

"Uh hi." I said, extremly awkwardly.

"Hey, how are you today?" He asked, staring his green eyes into mine.

"Um, fine." I say, avoiding his eyes. "Yours?"

"Well, it just got better, you're Samantha right?" He asked.

"Yeah, Noah?"

"That would be me." He says, with a small grin on his face.

Then, the next thing I know, we are locking eyes, I having my blue eyes on his really nice green eyes. We then slowly look away.

Scratching his neck he says "Well I have to go, I'll catch you later Samantha, oh! Can I have your number?" I nod my head and then he passes me his phone and I quickly type in my number.

"Thanks, see ya later Smantha." He says, winking at me as he stands up and walks away, as he looks back, I flash him a quick smile and wave.

"OMG SAMMY!" My friend Julie screams at me from across the table, oh yeah, them.

"OMG JULIE WHAT?!" I say, equally as loud as her and then return to my book.

"Sammy, do you realise you just had an entire conversation with a guy? A hot guy?" My other friend Caroline questioned me.

"Yeah, and your point?" I replied, only partially listening, like Augustus and Hazel are more important right now.

"Oh I don't know, just the fact that you've had a crush on him for the longest time and now it's finally becoming a reality." Caroline says, a little too loudly might I add.

"SHH! Not to loud Caroline." I hiss.
Then the bell rang. Always saved by the bell.

"Well, I'll see you two around." I say walking away waving after hearing goodbye.

To English I go.
