As me and Pj walled to to the dark hall way, I could tell that Pj was scared by the way he griped to my arm like a little kid. It was so dark that if it wasn't for Pj's pink eyes and orange cheeks I wouldn't been able to see him. The floor creeked as we walked. Cobwebs in every corner of each room.we heard what we thought was foot steps but since we didn't know if we where a alone or not we quickened our pace.
"Did you see that ..." Pj whispered while looking at a stair way.
"Stop trying to scare me Pj it's not going to-" my sentence came to a quick stop when we heard a crash of metal on metal coming from up the stairs.
"Told you"

I stepped closer to the stairs when Pj pulled me back by grabbing my wrist .
"Are you crazy you never go towards the noise. Have you ever watched horror movies??"
"It's fine if anything attacks you I'll be there to save you" I relayed to Pj with a mocking tone as I walked to the stairs.
The wood was old and dusty,with each each step we took claiming the stairs the creeking got more intense. With Pj still cling behind me,we reached the top of the stairs only to see two corrordoors to the left and right of us. Both bearly lit.
"Witch way you wanna go Pj??"
"I wanna go back down the stairs and into the car to drive to the mall and get my new jacket but that's not happening is it" Pj with the sarcastic tone look down at me still not ungrasping his hand from me witch I hadn't noticed till now is now honding my hand.
"When did this happen?" I said pulling up our hand inter locked.
"While claiming the stairs. You didn't flinch or pull away so I left it" Pj had this smerk on his face that I could get out my head.
We stood there in silence for a bout a minute just looking at each other. Our hands still together.
