I opened the door gently, and walked into the classroom. Everyone was starring at me, which I obviously expected, since it was a small town and people weren't used to get new students here. Their eyes were borred into my skin. Did I have spinach between my teeth, or was it completely normal to stare at someone for legit 45 seconds or more.
"Hello, Mirabell. I'm Mrs. Smith, It's nice to meet you. You're a little late, but it's okay. Just remember that I like when my students are in the classroom before I walk in. But anyways, would you please take a seat so we can get started?" she asked while smiling. Smiling? I'm sorry, I meant the classical 'You are getting on my nerves. You are annoying and I think I'll hate you just because of this particular moment. However, I don't want to seem like an asshole or get fired, so I'll just pretend that I like you, just because you're new' smile.
I walked to an empty chair, which was in the back of the classroom. No one was sitting there, luckily.
"Okay so we'll start up with a big project. This project is important for your grade, so do not mess this up, alright? Okay, so you will work in pairs. And since I'm in a good mood, I will let you choose your own partner. Go ahead before I change my mind." Mrs Smith said.
Great
I looked around to see if there was someone who didn't have a partner. Are you serious? Was I suppose to work alone? Well, actually I wouldn't mind, but anyways.
"Oh, you don't have a partner?" Mrs Smith asked loudly. Damn, this girl was really tripping. She wanted me to suffer. Everyone looked at me. Some whispered, but most of them just looked at me.
Thanks a lot mister what's your face?
"No, I don't have one" I said awkwardly. This whole situation was so embaressing, awkward and just humiliating.
She started to walk towards me.
"You could work with another group, so that you'll be three people. Or you could work with Cayden. He will be here 'til next period. He can be a little complicated, but you'll mange. It's up to you." she said and walked away. Okay so I could work with another pair, but wouldn't that be awkward? And I would probably be the third wheel. Probably? I meant I will be the third wheel. Much better. Then finally, the bell rang. Lunch. Yay, food.
I walked towards the cafeteria. I took out my sandwich and sat down in an empty chair. Not only empty chair, but also empty table. I started eating. Then I felt someone tap on my shoulder. I turned around quickly and met two clear, blue eyes. Lexi.
"Hey, come on. Sit with us" she said, and pointed at two boys sitting behind me. I nodded awkwardly and walked towards them slowly, with Lexi right behind me.
"Hi, I'm Lucas." The boy with blonde hair said. He had grey eyes, which was adorable. He seemed very nice, and he had a genuine smile plastered on his face. I already knew that we were going to be great friends.
"Bella" I said as an introduction.
"I know". I could feel my cheeks getting burned up. But then my eyes met the other God. I mean boy. No, I actually meant God. With a big "G". I didn't notice that I was starring at him for way too long.
"You know, a picture lasts longer" he said while smirking. I mentally slapped myself. But I was still starring, until Lexi pushed me into the chair. My thoughts were disrupted, and I didn't stare at him anymore. He had dark brown hair with honey brown eyes. Damn, he was gorgeous.
"Bella" I said quickly.
"Yeah, I kinda figured. I'm Jack." He said. While smirking.
Do not blush. Do not blush. Do NOT blush...and I blushed.
