Chapter 8

The guys and Dom had hung out back for a few more hours, just drinking and laughing "So Dom you nervous about tomorrow night"? Brain asked Dom "I'm not going to lie I feel a little bit more pressure now that I have Letty and Antonia to worry about". Dom said as he looked over at his phone to check up on Antonia. "Do you still love her"? Vince asked Dom
"I never stopped". Dom again looked over at his phone and saw that Antonia was whining in her sleep. "Mami!" "I'm here Mami!" "Mami don't go!" Antonia said through the phone, Dom then gets up from his seat and walked back in his house. Everyone looked confused at Dom as he left to go inside.
Dom could hear Antonia as he got closer to the stairs "Mami no watch out" by the time Dom got up to the top of the stairs Antonia let out a high pitch scream "NOOOOOOOO MAMI!" Dom then runs into the room and sees Antonia seating up in bed sobbing, terrified, and shaking, Dom then walks closer to the bed and seats next to Antonia he pulls her up to his lap. Antonia puts her head on his chest, and wraps her arms around his side, Dom starts to rub her back gently. "Shhhh, It's okay I got you now, you're safe now," Dom said to Antonia while giving her kisses on the head. "Daddy, can I sleep with you tonight?" Antonia asked lifting her head up and looking at Dom with red puffy eyes and tears rolling down her face and wanting to be protected by him. Dom smiles hearing Antonia call him daddy for the first time, he then wipes her tears with his thumb, kisses her forehead and looks into her eyes "You can sleep with me tonight". Antonia then smiles a little and wrapped her tiny arms around his neck and buries her face in his neck. "I love you daddy" Antonia whispered "I love you too Angel" Dom wrapped one of his arms on Antonia back and uses the other to hold her up, as he starts to walk to the hallway Brian runs up to Dom "Hey, is everything okay?" Brian asks with a little bit of concern in his voice."Yeah, we're good, do you mind telling the guys that I'll see them tomorrow, and to meet me here at three. No man I don't mind, Is it okay if Mia, Jack and I stay the night?" "You know you don't have to ask," Dom said as he started walking to his room with Antonia. He then lays Antonia on the king size bed, he then gives her a kiss on the forehead "I'll be back I'm going to change into my night clothes" Dom then grabs his sweat pants and white breeder walks to his bathroom, after a few minutes he walks out the bathroom and chuckled a little bit seeing how the bed was so much bigger than Antonia. He then goes to his side of the bed and lays down, Antonia wiggles her way to Dom side then she puts her head on his chest and wrapped her tiny arm around his stomach Dom then wrapped one of his arms around her back and uses his other hand to gently caress her arm.
"Daddy if I tell you something will you be mad at me?"
"It depends, what did you do?"Dom asked Antonia as he gently rubbed her back.
Flashback-
It was a Saturday and mommy had left for work. So aunt Linda and I went to clean the attic and I saw a box that said Letty and Dom on it. I asked aunt Linda "who was Dom?"she looked at me and pulled the box out more for us to go through it. I pulled out a picture of you and mommy "Mommy looks happy here, but who's this guy?" I asked aunt Linda. "Your mom is going to kick my butt for telling you this but that's your father Dominic Toretto, other than you, he was the other person to make your mother happy". I stared at the picture and smiled knowing that I had a dad I always wanted to know who my dad was and to meet him. "Does he know about me?" I question aunt Linda "No sweety he doesn't, she left him before she told him about you, even tho she doesn't say it I know she regrets leaving him, your mommy stills love him". I signed a little and then I remembered that mommy had another picture of you on her night stand. After so many years mommy said that he was her best friend when really he was my father. Then I looked back at the picture and told myself that I was going to find you and bring back mommy to you. So that night after everyone went to sleep I got up and went back to the attic and went through the box more and I found my birth certificate and address with your name on it, so I thought since mommy was leaving Monday and I was taking a car serves to camp, I decided to change the drop off location to your house without mommy and aunt Linda knowing.
End of Flashback
"In my dream, mommy came home early to pick me up from camp and I wasn't there, mommy was going crazy trying to find me but I was in front of her but she couldn't see me". So I kept yelling for her to slow down cause she was driving really fast and then a car pulled out and hit mommy's car and the car flipped over and mommy was dead". Antonia started to cry again "I really miss mommy". Dom goes and grabs Antonia and hugs her tight. "Shhh it's alright, you'll get to see her soon I promise, but you know soon we have to tell your mom where you're at". Dom said as he looked down at Antonia, Antonia then lifts her head up and says "Can you tell her with me?" Dom goes kisses her forehead and gently rubbed her back. "Yeah, we can tell her together". Antonia then rests her head back on Dom's chest "I love you daddy" "I love you too Angel, get some sleep we have a big day tomorrow." Dom then lays back down and starts to think.
Dom P.O.V
If it wasn't for Linda, Antonia wouldn't be here lying next to me. Everything is adding up now, that's why Antonia came by herself. But how do I tell Letty that our daughter found me, and was staying with me, would she keep Antonia away from me, or would she hate me for knowing about Antonia. As I look over I see that Antonia was now sound a sleep. "I promised you that I would bring our family back, and that's what I intend to do". Dom said to Antonia while she was sleeping. "I love you, my Angel, we're going to get through this". Then Dom kissed her head then slowly starts to drift off to sleep.
