Marinette woke up, momentarily confused. Why was she at the desk? Then she remembered. She had stayed up all night looking for flights to L.A. She hoped to become a fashion designer there and take a course with others as passionate as her about designing. She stared at the screen blankly then remembered that she needed to find a flight! She began searching.
And that was how Sabine found her, just staring at the screen scrolling through endless tickets. "Aha!" Mari cried. She had found a flight! She hugged her mum then ran to tell Tikki! "I'm so happy for you Marinette!" Tikki beamed. "You should start packing. When is the flight?" Suddenly it dawned on Mari that it was tomorrow! She had to get packing. As she lugged her case upstairs to pack she suddenly felt overwhelmed with tiredness. She dragged her case into her room and collapsed on the bed, falling into a dreamless sleep.

She woke up to find her phone ringing. It was a call from alya! She picked it up, hastily shoving clothes into the case. "Hey girl!" Alya said "Find a flight yet?" "Yes I did!" Mari told her excitedly. As alya talked she picked out a cute outfit to wear for the journey. She picked a white cropped jumper and ripped jeans with crime (Yessss autocorrect) cream converse. She thought the look suited her blue hair and bluebell eyes. She matched it with a Tokyo hat and planned to tie her hair in a ponytail to go with the look. "Marinette you're going to look great!" Tikki smiled, she was just as pleased as Mari with the outfit. "Lets grab some food and take a last walk round town. I can't believe I'm leaving!" Mari said grabbing a turtleneck sweater and jeans.
It was a cool, clear day as Marinette stepped out onto the path. She was going to miss her town but she sure as heck wasn't going to miss Chloé. She was such a brat, Marinette thought to herself as she walked among the trees. I just hope there aren't more people like her in L.A.
