Today, after I got in the tub, my aunt knocked on the door and said that she needed something. I didn't lock the door, but she didn't know that. So I lied and told her it was locked. But to my surprise, she twisted the knob and realized it was unlocked.
I had no choice but to dip my tail in the water and hope she didn't see it. As she walked in she gave me a funny look. But then, she slowly walked over to the tub!
I smiled at her, but she grabbed her rag off of the side of the bathtub and left.
I though I was about to be caught.
And not to mention, I'm still grounded. Which isn't fair. I love my aunt and all, but I don't see why she acts like such a buzzkill. She's only 26, and I'm 13. She doesn't always have a say in what I do, even if she's my guardian!
Anyway, I'm pretty sure my cat, Kingston, is out to get me. Yesterday, after I lay down to go to sleep, he jumped up on my bed, made his way up to my face, and layed there. Well, I moved because he was right in my face. He didn't like that very much, so he started hissing and clawing at my face!! I fell out of my bed and hit my head on the nightstand.
Then, he waited until I was walking up the staircase, and then he jumped on the banister and started hissing and clawing again.
Cats.
School is going great, even though that sounds like a lie. I'm making good grades, and I got invited to a party on Saturday. I'm pretty excited. This year will turn around.
I know that I said this was a guide, so in the next chapter, I'll be putting out some pointers. Hopefully they help.
P.S still no sign from the mystery mermaid. Also, someone asked me if mermaids could talk underwater. Well they can't. Super sorry!!
Bye for now~Mallory🔱
