" I'm so sorry. I swear I'm not clumsy. I just can't see well, I forgot my contacts at home. Please don't eat me "

This is me trying to apologize but I fail woefully and embarrass myself by telling who or what I bumped into not to eat me. Whatever I bumped into was rock hard. So, it's either I bumped into a wall or a male specie that lives in the gym. At this point, I don't know which is better. I mean, if it's a wall, then I just literally spoke to a wall and I pleaded to not be consumed by that same wall and if it's a male specie that lives in a gym, then it could be one of those jocks and then I could get eaten. Don't ask me how.

My sight is not that bad, it's not like I'm blind.
I try to make out who it is but all I can see is a well built body frame. Definitely not a wall then.

Laughter.

Not just any kind.

The deep and rich kind of laughter.

The kind that makes you think of chocolate.

Ridiculous, I know.

" I already had breakfast "

He talked.

His voice.

More chocolate.

" Do you need help? I can walk you to your locker"

He spoke again.

This must be some sort of dream. Or maybe just maybe I hit my head too hard and now I'm like Dorothy from Wizard of Oz and the only voice I can hear is a rich and deep baritone voice that I bet can get girls to do the bidding of the owner of this heavenly voice.

" Hello , anybody home? " chocolate voice asked.

Oh my God !

He's been talking to me and clearly, I zoned out thinking about his voice.

Nice going KC.

" Yh.. Yh... I- I'm good. I'm sorry. I'm really not that clumsy. My locker is like two lockers away. Thank you.. Bye! "

And with that, I walked hurriedly to my locker
and unlocked it. I reach out for what I presume to be my pair of glasses. I hate wearing this thing. Makes me look and feel like a nerd.. I have no choice except if I want to keep bumping into people and things. I put them on.

Well, hello clear vision and bye bye blur vision.

I started bringing out my what I need for first period. My jotter and a pen.

I'm not the school kind of girl. In fact, I hate school. But then I'm still on a 4.0 GPA. That's not a small feat for someone who doesn't like school and only takes her jotter and a pen to class. I only take textbooks when I need to. I'm definitely not a nerd. I like to party and have fun. Only when I want to though. I live by one rule. One major rule my dad used to point out.

There's time for everything.

There's no greater truth than that, there's time for everything. A time to party and a time to read for exams like there's no tomorrow. A time to cry and a time to laugh. A time for everything. Maybe that's why I'm so good at focusing on one thing at a time. I make a goal and I make sure to achieve it. That should explain how I got to school before the world could say Jack Robinson.

"KC !" .

Ally .

I turn to see one of my two best friends grinning and running towards me. Ally is like the happiest girl I know .She's always smiling and always in a good mood. Well, most times. You don't want to be with her when she's hungry. She is food crazy. Food is her fuel. A goody too shoes with very good grades. No, she looks nothing like a nerd with her long golden locks and grey eyes . Tall and all model like but with the sweetest heart known to man. But trust me, you don't want to get on her bad side. She becomes different - scary different.
