Chapter 3
The moment my eyes landed on her I knew we would be enemies. The perfect curly golden hair, the sparkling teeth, the great body, and the gorgeous face all came together too perfectly. Her eyes shot over to mine. I didn't avert my eyes. Instead, I walked right up to her and her little "posse" and said
"Hi! I'm Rachel. Its so nice to meet you!"
I stuck out my hand for her to shake, but she only scoffed.
"As if. Freak."
She sashayed right past me, and right when she was closest to me I muttered
"Pardon me for being nice."
I walked out of sight before she could open her mouth to complain. I walked up the gorgeously carpeted steps leading up to my first class. I was early, so I decided to get acquainted with my teacher Mrs. Fleming.
"Hello! I'm Rachel. I hope we can have a nice time here together!"
She heartily shook my hand and smiled.
"I hope so too! Just take a seat anywhere you want."
I smiled back and turned to examine my surroundings. I decided on a seat in the second row. I noticed that out of the few guys who were there, stared at my every move. I could feel my face burning. Then I saw Adam enter the room. I waved.
"Hi Adam. We meet again!"
He chuckled. "So I see. This seat taken?" he asked, pointing to the seat next to me.
"No, not that I know of!"
He looked around the room first and then sat down.
"It seems your the center of attention today."
I blushed. "I guess so."
Mrs. Fleming cleared her throat.
"Good morning class! Today I would like to introduce you to Rachel Hemmingway!"
I walked to the center of the class, getting a whistle on the way up. I was blushing like crazy.
"Uh hi everyone! Um as Mrs. Fleming just said my name is Rachel. I uh...I definitely like... uh.....food! Yes. You gotta love that food eheheh..."
I was blabbering like an idiot. Thankfully it got a few chuckles out of the guys and a few "tee hee's" from the girls.
"You needn't be nervous dear. Just start with the basics."
"Okay the basics. Well uh I recently moved here from Florida. I was home schooled by a private teacher up until now, and now....well I'm here!"
"I won't torture you any longer Rachel. You may sit down now."
I scurried to my seat glad that it was over.
"Okay class. Lets turn to page 125 in our text books."

The rest of the day up until lunch was a drag. I did make a couple of friends though, which was good. Otherwise I would have been eaten alive. I went to the huge dining hall which was as ornately decorated as the rest of the mansion. I saw Adam's stunning face immediately. He strode up to me and smiled.
"Have a nice day so far?"
"Well, I survived!"
He chuckled. "You know, you're funny. I like that in a girl."
I felt my face burning up again. I grinned.
"Laughter keeps me going! Otherwise I'd be a zombie by now."
He laughed again. "Well it seems you know every place around. Why don't we just skip that tour and you come back and meet my friends?"
My face was straight but in my head I was screaming like a monkey.
"Uh, sure! That'd be fine!"
He guided me over to the end of the long maple table. I sat next to him and his other friend.
"Guys, I'd like you to meet my new friend Rachel!"
Everyone at the table was smiling at me and smirking at Adam.
"Friend you say? Are you sure you two are just friends?"
asked a very hot blonde sitting next to me. He was looking at me so I answered:
"Uh yeah definitely."
Just when I was saying that I almost got knocked out by someone's very strong perfume. I turned and saw it was the same bitch I saw earlier.
"Hi Adam!"
He frowned. He looked at me and then to her.
"Go away Jessica. If you haven't noticed, I'm trying to entertain someone other than you today."
I smiled on the inside. She pouted and then sashayed away with her two friends.
I had a feeling me and Adam were going to get along just fine.
Heyo! So that is the end of Chapter 3....so now you guise have met the bitch....Jessica Harper....Miss. Queen Bee. Well we'll find out how Rachel deals with this stinger.
I will try to have Chapter 4 out by today also, so stay tuned my cupcakes!
