Met You at Magcon (Hayes Grier)

#6- Later That Evening

*Hayes' POV*

"Um Alexa... Please move out of my way." I say trying to push past her.

"But Hayesieboo you love me." She purrs in my ear.

I shiver slightly but push her back. "Alexa I'm asking one more time: Get out of my fucking way." I say sternly. I look over to Kenna and I see her walking away with her head down.

"Kenna wait!" I practically yell. I jog over to her, ignoring the looks people are giving me. I catch up to her and look at her beautiful eyes. "Hi I wanted to talk to you again."

"Surprisingly me too." She says smiling and blushing.

" What? You don't usually get to talk to cute boys like me?" I say teasing her.

"No, the boys at my school are allllll over me." She says.

"Wouldn't doubt it." I mumble

"What was that?"

"Nothing." I say. "So do you mind if I get your number? We should hang out later. You know after Magcon" I say kinda nervously.

"Yeah that would be fun!" She says smiling. "You can explain the whole Magcon thing to me more. I don't even have a vine." She says giggling. She is so cute I just can't take it. I hope she likes me though...

*Kenna's POV*

While Liv is having the time of her life meeting everyone, I am just watching Hayes. I probably look like a huge loser. I try to convince myself that I don't like him. We don't even know each other! It looks like he is about to come walking over to me but he stops to talk to a girl. I better not get my hopes up about this guy. If I fall in love he'll probably just cheat on me like the other 2 guys I've dated.

"Kenna wait!" A familiar voice calls after me. I turn around and Hayes starts to talk to me. "Hi, I wanted to talk to you again." He says to me.

Do I tell him I wanted to too? Or would that make me seem too thirsty?

"Surprisingly me too." I say blurt out. I start to blush. I already know I look like a lobster.

Not bad Kenna, not bad. I think to myself. But seriously, do you always have to blush? I tell my mind to shut up and look at Hayes.

"What? You don't usually get to talk to cute boys like me?" He asks me teasingly.

I stifle a laugh and say "No, the boys at my school are allllll over me."

I think I hear Hayes say something but I couldn't really understand him.

"What was that?"

"Nothing." He says but obviously it was something. I try not to think about it.

He shifts around in his spot for a second and then asks me a question. "So do you mind if I get your number? We should hang out later. You know, after Magcon." Aww he looks so nervous. And cute. But mostly nervous.

"Yeah that would be fun!" I say enthusiastically. "You could explain the whole Magcon thing to me more. I don't even have a vine." I say while giggling. I must sound like a complete freak. Going to Magcon without even knowing what these people do. I take his phone and make a new contact. I write in 'Kennnna' and put the heart eyes emoji after it. He'll probably change it later to a smiley face or something. I give him my phone.

"Oh are these your friends?" He asks referring to my background.

"Yeah one of them is here right now. Her name is Olivia" I say pointing to Liv.

"Cool." I watch him as he makes a new contact and types in 'Hayes The Babe' He then puts a million different emojis.

"Okay Hayes that's enough." I laugh and take my phone away.

"Haha I have to get back but don't forget about tonight okay? I'll text you too. Bye Ken." Hayes says jogging back.

I stay there, just standing in the middle of the hotel looking like a fool.

Liv runs over to me. "Oh my god I got pictures with all of them!" She says shoving her phone in my face.

"That's so great but can we hurry it up with this meet and greet??" I ask impatiently.

"Yesss let's gooooo!" She yells super loudly.

"Shut up people are staring." I say following her to the next bunch of boys.
