Met You at Magcon (Hayes Grier)

#1-Waking Up

*Liv's POV* (This isn't the main character btw)

My alarm starts to ring at exactly 6:00. I roll over and unlock my phone. Ughhh why am I up so early? I rub my eyes and yawn. Oh my gosh! How could I forget? Today is the day I finally get to go to Magcon! And even better, the first day of summer vacation! I jump straight up and run over to Kenna. She was sleeping over at my house because my mom is taking me, my 17 year old sister Caroline, and Kenna to Magcon North Carolina. We live about an hour away from where the hotel is.

"Kenna wake up right now! We have to go soon! We're going to Magcon!" I shout.

"Go back to sleep it's dark outside. You know I don't give a shit about going to this event." She mumbles from under the blankets.

"I know but it's for me, your best friend in the whole wide world. And you promised to go with me so get up sleepy head "

"Fine." She whines.

I grab my pre-picked out clothes and hop into the shower.

*Kenna's POV* (This IS the main character)

I struggle to get out of the comfy bed. I really don't wanna go to this thing. Its for a bunch of fan girls who have nothing better in life than to stalk a bunch of teenage boys. I stretch and find some clothes. I always have stuff at Liv's because I'm there almost every day. My mom died from breast cancer when I was 6 and my dad works a lot. I also have two older brothers, one named Jacob who is 15 and one named Charlie who is 17 almost 18. They're always so busy but I love them with all my heart. They help out a lot when my dad is at work. It's kinda hard being the only woman and the youngest of the house. But ya know, it's alright.

"Liv what do I wear to this stupid thing?" I yell through the bathroom door where she is taking a shower.

"Look presentable. We don't want them to think you're a slob."

I get back to looking for an outfit and finally decide on some Hollister shorts, a navy blue t-shirt that said Stay Trippy on it and my new galaxy vans. I put some mascara on. I probably look like poop, but whatever I don't care.

"I'm ready." I yell through the door again.

"Did you pack your suitcase? Remember we might stay at the hotel for awhile. I already packed mine." She yells back.

Since I have so much clothes at her house I find a suitcase and start to pack my clothing. I pack 2 pairs of vans, one pair of white converse, 3 crop tops, 5 t-shirts, 2 sweatpants, pajamas, 1 sweater, 1 skirt, 1 dress, 3 bikinis and socks. I also throw in my hair and makeup supplies. I think I heard Mrs. Barret (Liv's mom) say we were gonna stay there for a week.

Hadley comes out of the bathroom dressed and ready to go. She was wearing a red Magcon T-shirt that she created into a crop top, light wash high waisted jeans and red vans. She curled her long brown hair and her mascara really made her blue eyes look so pretty.

"Aww Had, you look so cute. They'll love you." I say.

"Thanks Ken... if you want you can borrow a Magcon shirt. I have tons of them." Liv asks.

"Nah I'm okay. I don't even like them"

"Okay suit yourself. It's your loss."

We walk downstairs and put our suitcases in the car.

"Good morning girls. Are you ready to go? We'll get breakfast when we're driving."

"Yeah we're good." Liv says while clicking her seatbelt.

I sit in the other seat and buckle my seat belt.

"I'm so excited I can't wait!!" Caroline says from the front. She turns up the radio to full blast.

"Honey be quiet it's 6:30 in the morning." Mrs. Barret says.

This is gonna be a long ride.
