Nala leaned back in her seat as she looked out the window. The view from the sky at night was simply beautiful and she had to pull the cliche move, take a picture. There weren't a lot of moments where she felt the breath taken away from her but this was definitely one of them.

She then looked around at the people near her. The only person she knew was Liam, who sat right next to her. Her other friends were closer to the front of the flight due to the fact that Liam and herself waited until the last possible minute to buy their tickets even though she had been planning this trip for weeks.

"Attention passengers, buckle up because we are experiencing severe turbulence." The pilot's voice sounded over the intercom and Nala took a shaky breath. She hated planes with every inch of her being.

Liam looked over at her as they both buckled in. He shook his head with a small smile and grabbed her hand lightly as it shook. "Nal, calm down. It's just some turbulence." He squeezed her hand comfortingly as she nodded slowly.

"Turbulence, yeah just some turbulence." She took a deep breath and let it out as she started speaking quickly, "or death. You know death seems like a very very very reasonable answer right now." Nala was majorly freaking out due to the fear of dying but a small part was nerves from Liam's touch.

He laughed softly and rubbed circles on her hand with his thumb. "It's gonna be completely safe. If you want to, after we land in Florida, instead of going to the beach or hotel...we could head straight to Jacksonville to visit your cousins. Take your mind off of the whole Stiles breakup situation." He stumbled slightly over his words, "o-or we can't go with everyone else to the hotel. I just thought, um, you know — it'd be less awkward."

Relief flooded through him as Nala shrugged slightly. "Yeah, I'd much rather do that." She added on a small smile, feeling the turbulence lighten up then stop. "Thanks for calming me, Li."

Liam watched as she leaned her head back and closed her eyes. He could barely hear the pilot clearing seatbelt usage as he stared at her. It wasn't a creepy stare, more like admiring her beauty.

Nala was unaware of his staring as she fell asleep. Warmth from their two hands made her feel calm enough to finally sleep on the flight.
