Yay a day at the amusement park with your dad, this is the greatest thing ever! Said no one ever! You wanted to go to a movie with your friends this weekend but your dad insisted that you hang out this weekend.

"So what ride is first?" Your dad asks pulling out the map.

"Uh I don't know how about that new roller coaster they just put in?"

"Alright" he says walking toward the ride.

Hmmm okay just a few more hours and then you can go back to your moms house and everything will be alright. You and your dad are standing in line and it's taking forever! You have literally been standing in line for 2 hours to go on a minute long ride.

"Hey y/n uh I need to use the restroom so I'll be back." Your dad says making his way out of line.

"Dad we have been waiting this long and we're almost there!"

"I'll be quick I promise"

"Okay fine."

You stand in line waiting by yourself for a good 15 minutes when you phone starts to ring.

"Hey y/n, it's dad, I'm in the back of the line and they won't let me up so just go on the ride without me and I'll meet you when you get off."

"Okay I'll meet you then." You say hanging up the phone. Well it's like 5 more minutes till you are up so you wait it out. When you get to the front the man says

"How many are in your party?"

"Oh it's just me"

"Hmm alright, any other single riders?" The man shouts to the line. One arm pops up from behind a man and the arm belongs to a cute grinning boy with dark hair and beautiful eyes.

"Alright come up here then" he tells the boy. He goes under the guard rail and comes up to the front with you.

"Alright you to are in cart 3" the attendant says pointing to the line. We both walk over to the line and stand there.

"Well let's make this a little less awkward, hey I'm phil." He says hold out his hand for a handshake.

"Hi I'm y/n you say" shaking his hand.

"Well it's very nice to meet you" he says giving you a smile.

"You as well, by the way I like your shirt." You say while looking at his shirts. His shirts had a Transformer that turned into a Tardis on it.

"Thanks, I'm kinda a big doctor who nerd." He says shyly.

"Me to! Look I have a doctor who pin on my purse." You pull your purse around and show him you pin that say I ❤️❤️ The doctor. He laughs at it getting the doctor who reference in it.

"Please enter the cart" a voice days to us. I turn around an see that everyone was loaded waiting for us to get on. Both of us embarrassed we quickly get on and strap in. The ride was fun but quickly over. When you get off you go look at the picture they take during the ride. You both are making the funniest faces and you love it!

"That is the best picture ever! I wish I could afford it!" You say looking at the screen laughing.

"I'll get it for you" phil says heading to the cashier.

"No phil I couldn't let you."   

"Please y/n , let me , you need to remember me by something." He says heading off and buying the picture. It takes him a little while but he finally comes back with it.

"Thank you! " you say giving him a hug.

"Where next?" Phil says pulling out a map.

"Uh actually I'm here to spend the day with my dad and he is waiting for me." You say disappointed.

"It alright, maybe we can meet up soon" phil says smiling. "Bye y/n" phil says running off in the other direction.

"Wait phil!" You shout after him but he is to far gone. "I don't have your number..." You say sadly walking to your dad. You open up the picture to see his face again and you see something scribble in the corner, it says:

You smile after seeing this. You head over to your dad.

"What's that?" He says pointing at the picture.

"It is just to remember how awesome this ride is." You say smiling and holding the picture to your chest.
