[This was written in response to someone saying that the so called PC and feminism are both bad and unnecessary, to quote them: "idiotic".]
PC isn't even comparable with feminism.
Feminism was a movement which has played a big role in history & which is still needed in many countries, especially outside of the western world.
It's defined as the movement of equal rights for women (and disagreeing with that is pretty fucking misogynistic, right?).
Now sadly, some western "feminists", instead of fighting for rights of women I third world countries or very religiously conservative countries, have made it easy to ridicule this movement.
But those people are a minority and shouldn't define the word feminism in my opinion.
PC is a totally different thing. I personally am a polite person so I don't say any slurs, but a politically incorrect joke now and then can be much to my delight.
But it has come to my attention that usually, racist people hate on PC because they fear their free speech will get taken away - just that the "free speech" they're usually pretending to love is in fact hate speech.
