Kaleys POV:
"HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU MOM!!" My 16 year old daughter Hermione yells as she walks into my room. I smile.
"Thank you Hermione." I say genuinely. "Where's Dad?" I ask noticing he isn't in the room anymore. He probably went to work early like he normally does. I can't feel but a little bit hurt cause it is my birthday.
"I don't know." She replies putting her head down. She's lying. She always does that when she lies. But I pretend I believe her and roll out of bed. What? I'm still the old Kaley, the old Kaley loves sleep.
I walk out of our room and into our kitchen. Then I see my beautiful husband and our baby boy, Nick. All surrounded by the couch that has one HUGE gift in the middle of the room, and banners and posters surrounding them. Shawn gets up and walks over to me, leaving Nick in his crib.
"Happy birthday babe." He says giving me a peck on my lips.
"You did all this?" I ask mind blown. He laughs
"Hermione helped too." I look over at my smiling daughter with that proud mother look. I walk over to her and give her a big hug
"I love you." I whisper in her ear.
"I love you too." She whispers back and I smile. I have the perfect family. Shawn motions for me to sit on the couch. He opens the "huge" gift as he reaches inside and pulls out a thick book. He hands it to me smiling.
I open it and see it's a photo album of the day me and Shawn first met to the day we had Nick.
"Oh my god. Guys this is amazing. I love you all so much." I say about to cry. I look over at Hermione and see how much she's grown these last years and how she's become so mature, me or Shawn have no idea where that trait came from. I still remember the day we found out I was pregnant clearly.
"Shawn!" I yelled out to him as he was leaving the apartment. He turns around. "I love you." He blushes.
"I love you too." He turns around and walks out our house on his way to work.
As soon as he's gone I call Ashlynn, who is still my best friend. My and Georgia have drifted a bit but we're still close friends. And tell her to come asap with a pregnancy test.
When she finally arrives I explain the situation to her. "Ive been having weird cramps every know and then and my back will start to hurt and I'll have sudden cravings for a certain food and my period was more than a month ago." I say hopefully
You see me and Shawn have been trying to have kids for a while now, but he haven't been very successful. "Well then you better take those dang tests before he gets home." She says handing me the bag and I make my way to the bathroom. I do my "business" and now we have to wait.
After the 6 minutes are up, I slowly walk over to the test, and I start to cry right on the spot. It's like someone turned a faucet. I'm gonna be a mom. "Ashlynn!!" I yell and she runs in the room and I show her the test not able to make any words. And she screams with me, and she calls Shawn telling him to come home right away.
And he did, and I will never forget how happy he looked when I told him.
I look at my beautiful family and realize how lucky we all are. I start to cry. "Kaley what's wrong?" Shawn asked worried. I laugh.
"Nothing is wrong Shawn everything is PERFECT. We have the perfect family.
The rest of the day we all sit cuddled on our couch watching Disney movies and cuddling. I really do have the perfect husband, daughter, and baby boy.
