Moolight angel

Chapter One

She stood on the balcony of her house staring at the stars in the clear night as she cries because she feels nothing is going right in her life anymore. As she falls to her knees she picks up a dagger and holds it to her chest as holds it up about to stab it in as he appears. His hair long and black as the night and his wings were white like the stars as he flies down and grabs the dagger from her hands and says, "Rose you are not alone in this world, I have been watching you from far away and I am here to help you."

Rose looks up at him as the tears grow. "Why would you save me? I'm nothing more than a waste on this earth and my Michael has left me for Abigail and I have lost my father in a car wreck," she says with a quivering voice.

He looks into her eyes and says," I am here for you Rose. I am your protector and I was sent for a reason. You have an important role to play in life don't give up, I am here now."

She looks at him in amazed at his beauty," What is your name? You say you're here to protect me and I don't even know who you are, other than what you said about being my protector."

He says to her," My name is Mathew and I am the angel of the moon. I have been watching you for a long time and I believe I have fallen for you more than I was supposed to. But the thing you need to know about me is I can only stay here until the moon sets. Once it sets I have to return to the moon."

She looks amazed but a bit worried. She softly touches his face and was struck with passion. She felt her body give way and didn't know why but she kissed Mathew. Mathew wraps his arms around her and after he kisses her back he says," This is goodbye for now my sweet Rose for the moon will set soon and this will start the beginning of a huge change in your life. I must go now," he then kisses her lips softly and flies away into the night.

Rose looks at the sky trying to tell him to wait but before she could say anything he was gone. Rose with a puzzled look on her face says to herself," My life will change?"

Well no sooner it was 6am and time to get ready for school. All Rose could remember and think of was what happened last night and if it really did happen or was it just a dream? Rose got into her car and noticed that things around her were different as people started to actually look at her as she passed through the roads and got to the school yard. As she pulled up, there they were, little miss perfect Abigail and Michael her ex-boyfriend standing there at the door kissing each other like two dogs in heat. Rose's eyes became filled with tears and anger at the same time and all of a sudden some random guy approached her car.

Rose was wondering why he came to her because she had never seen him before. His eyes were dark brown, his hair short with a dark brown tent to it and he was very tan. The young man says," Hello my name is Kris. I am new around here. I just moved in my new house two days ago and I don't know anyone around here. Would you mind showing me around the school?"

All Rose could think was" why me" but she looks at him and said," My name is Rose and yes I will show you around the school."

So Rose and Kris walked around the school as she showed him where all his classes were and told him everything he needed to know about the school. During first block Rose had the new kid Kris in her class but she also has to look at her ex Michael. Biology was bad enough with all the trouble she was having in the class and the teacher Mr. Watts usually didn't seem to worry. But however he looked at her and said," Rose would you mind staying after class, I see you are you are falling behind in class, can we talk?"

Puzzled Rose said, "I guess I wouldn't mind."

"Not like you ever cared before and you dared to embarrass me in front of the entire class," Rose thought in her mind.
