Moolight angel

Chapter Two

There he was Mathew standing before Rose with his sword covered in blood as Mr. Watts fell to the ground decapitated.

"Rose you will always be safe as long as I am around," Mathew says as tears fill his eyes," I was almost too late to save you this time."

Shaken by what just happened Rose says with a quivering voice," it is okay. Once again you have saved my life and again I am very grateful."

Mathew walks up and wraps his arm around Rose and says," let's get you home now."

He carries her off and flies into the sky. She grasps tightly to his arm afraid of falling but at the same time feels warm inside and relaxes. He flies down onto the balcony where they first met face to face. Rose, still in shock and shaking from what had just happened, stumbles weakly into the house. Mathew slowly follows behind her to make sure she doesn't fall and makes it to the bed okay. He softly brushes his lips against her cheek and says," I will stay here to watch over until you fall asleep so I know that you're okay."

Mathew lies beside Rose and holds her to comfort her. Rose slowly drifts asleep and Mathew leaves as soon as she was sleeping deeply. Rose, as she slept, began tossing and turning from a dream she was having. A dream of an eagle, a bear, a wolf, and a cat all fighting over her. In the dream all rose could yell was stop fighting. At the time her mother wandered in her room because Rose was yelling loudly in her sleep and she wanted to make sure everything was okay. Her mother stood there quietly not wanting to wake her daughter after she had calmed down so she slowly closed the door and went off to work.

The next morning Rose woke up and found a note on the TV in her room from her mother. She opened the note and read it as her hand was shaking still from last night. The note said:

My dear Rose

I walked in last night as you were sleeping to you yelling loudly in your sleep. Is everything alright? I know we aren't as close as we used to be ,after your father past away and I had to start working nights, but I was hoping this weekend on my day off you could spend some mother/daughter time together like we used to. You are my daughter Rose and I love you with all my heart.

After reading the note all Rose could do was cry. It had been a long time since her mother and her spent the day together. After looking at the clock Rose realized it was time for her to school today so she quickly ran and got dress. Then she walked outside and noticed her car was there. Rose said to herself," Wasn't my car at Mr. Watts house last night?"

Rose proceeded to get into her car and headed off to school. When she arrived there she saw Abigail walk by. She watched Abigail and notice she wasn't with Michael so she kept a close eye on her as she followed her from a distance. She followed Abigail down the Hall and saw Abigail walk up to one of the new boys Kris and start kissing him provocatively. Enraged by this Rose hid in a corner of the hall and waited patiently for Abigail to walk back by her. As the bell rang for everyone to head to class Kris went one way and Abigail headed right towards the hall where Rose was hiding.

Once she had gotten close enough Rose ran out tackling Abigail to the ground and began beating her mercilessly. The security guard noticed this and quickly ran down the hall to stop the fight. When he had pulled Rose off of Abigail all you could see was a pool of blood under Abigail's body. The school quickly called for an ambulance and the police for Abigail and Rose. Rose was handcuffed and put into the back of the police car and Abigail was quickly rushed to the hospital. Then a voice called from the radio calling "code ten at Station five" and the officers rushed back into the school. "What's going on," Rose thought to herself?"

Shortly after Rose noticed that Zack and Michael were being walked out of the school by the police and they were handcuffed. Rose looked in shock, if anyone Michael should have gotten into a fight with would have been Kris the guy Abigail was kissing. Meanwhile Abigail had just arrived at the hospital. As Abigail was rushed in on a stretcher her mother had been notified and was rushed to the hospital. Abigail was rushed into the ER and the doctors went to work.
