It has been about 2 months and I am just about fully healed, though I wasn't very used to walking since I've been in bed the entire time. I walked (stumbling a lot) to Jane's car. I didn't have any other family out there that would take me in, so I was just about to be put up for adoption until Jane's Parent's Friend's decided to take me in. I was very suprised when I was told this. I always thought no one cared about me, that I'd be left in the orphanage until I turned 18 then kicked out. With no questions, I agreed.
Jane looked over at me and gave a big smile. She then gave me the tightest hug you could possibly imagine, and said a simple, "Bye, I'll see you at school!" Huh.. I never thought about school... I was always homeschooled (you can imagine how terrible that was). As soon as Jane and her parents left, two adults came up to me, a women about 32, wearing a white shirt with pink flowers on it along with blue jean shorts that went down to her knees. Her hair was up in a pony tail with sunglasses on top of her head. She was smiling as she scanned me from head to toe, "You're just as handsome as they described you." I figured she said that so I could feel better about myself because I highly doubt anybody would find me 'handsome' with my black messy hair, and dark lifeless green eyes.
She put her hands around me, and gave me a hug just as tight as Jane's. Behind her I saw a slightly plump man behind her with a brown tux, red tie, and white button up shirt along with brown dress up pants matching his clothing and brown mustache. He was crossing his arms and smiling at me, as the woman (who I guess is my "mom" now). The woman finally let me go of her death grip. "I'm your new mother!" She says with a smile on her skinny pale face. She gestured to the man, "And this is your father!" My new "father" walked up to me, and also gave me a hug (that wasn't as tight as my "mom's") with a pat on the back.
Again... I know it's rushed! I promised I'm gonna get a computer next month, and it won't be as rushed. I'm sorry for the slow updates by the way! Ugh... my thumbs hurt... If you have any suggestions for the book, please let me know!
