Chapter five

I cant believe my father is here. Why? Why does life hate me so much. I clenched Kaden's shirt tightly as sobs racks my whole body

"Please don't let him hurt me", I sobbed

Kaden pulled me into his side tightly and gently rubbed my back calming me down just a tad bit.

Tyler stood near him waiting for my father to come in and let me tell you I'm so scared.

"Kaden when he comes in here. Keep your cool okay. We don't know what game he's gonna play", Tyler tells him gruffly to which Kaden stiffly stands in front of me taking my hands
" I promise on my life Alex, I will never let him harm you ever again", he says looking at me deeply as if he's seeing my soul

I gave a tiny smile but that went away making me numb as the door opened an in came the man I dreaded to see.

" oh... my baby girl... what happened?", he says with fake concern and I could see his eyes shining with an evil glint in them making me flinch back an look away

" g...go...go away", I said softly turning my head and I knew he didn't like that cause he took a stiff step close to me but was cut off when Kaden walked up to him. Now they were face to face and let me tell you I have never seen my dad afraid of someone. Maybe it was the scar he had but I'm in complete utter shock.

Kaden crossed his arms over his broad chest an glared at my father.
" you can quit the act... we already know what you've done... and if you dare do something... I'll put you down easy", Kaden said looking at my father with such fury it made my heart skip a beat knowing someone was sticking up for me

Tyler stood next to me with an arm on my shoulder, I think it was his way of telling me he had my back as well to which I squeezed his hand and sat up a bit.

" who do you think you are boy? You know nothing of what's going on", my dad growled out causing me to flinch involuntary! My dad smirked at the effect his voice as on me. Kaden saw and what shocked me was that Kaden leaned back a bit and swung his fist right in my dads face.

My father fell and held his jaw with a groan. Tyler stepped forward just as my dad kicked his leg out for Kaden's chest to which Kaden masterly blocked and did whatever move he just did an had my dads face smashed in the floor with Kaden holding his hand behind his back, bending it making my father groan in pain

" you don't know who the fuck your messing with. She's mine... and you sure as hell ain't taking her from me. I won't let you. You've done enough. What father abuses his own daughter to the point where she's afraid of a touch, look and violent sounds huh", Kaden yelled punching my fathers face
" a father is suppose to be a guardian, a protector. Your suppose to cherish your child. Teach her right from wrong without the abuse you sick fuck", Kaden punched him again," you sick sick fuck", Kaden punched my father again seeing my dad go limp but Kaden didn't stop.

Tyler ran forward to stop Kaden but he pushed Tyler who fell and stood back up to get Kaden to stop.

" Kaden, bro enough come on", Tyler yelled pleadingly. Kaden punched Tyler causing him to fall. I moved off the bed slowly and took small steps to Kaden who angrily kept punching my dad.

" Ka..Kaden", my voice came out hoarse from my crying so I wiped my tears away and with the strength that I had I tackled Kaden to the ground who flipped us over to where he was on top of me. I winced as Kaden went to throw a punch but I called out to him which got his attention

He looked at me with shock and fear," Al..Alex ", he whispered getting off of me an pushed himself against the wall," I'm so sorry! I'm so sorry", he looked at me with pain
