This is a story about why parents shouldn't beat their kids.

At a young age you teach your children right from wrong. In many households "I'll beat you with the belt" was a common phrase. So when you learned what was right everything was fine. Everything was fine until you learned wrong, when you learned wrong you also met the belt. Sometimes once you meet the belt a couple times of greeting each other and you never cross paths again. Other times you become good friends with the belt. When it happens that you and the belt are friends, after a while you ask your mother or father "why?" "Why do they physically hurt me?" Sometimes they will respond with "you need to learn" or "you deserved it" but my favorite reason was "because I love you and want what's best for you." When you get a little bit older maybe eleven or twelve you begin to really think, really remember. You remember yourself crying on the floor screaming it hurts and your parents saying "good. Maybe if it hurts so bad you won't be tempted to do it again."
