I Found Her

H.

I was watching her sleep in this moment, her breathing was slow but heavy, it's just now that I'm sitting on the same bed as her, that everything begins to sink in.

She had fainted, I assumed the Ether I gave her was still in effect.

I've finally got her, and thanks to Madame Nichole I'll never lose her.

I remember all the days I had spent alone, waiting so patiently for the right moment. So many hours I traveled around the world searching for her-I had finally found her-I finally had her at arms length.

I knew she would be upset for a while (Is read a book on it) but she'd soon enough forget about her need for freedom when she quenches her thirst with my soul. My whole hearted love would bring her out of her shell and we would be happy.

She stirred slightly as I grazed my knuckles over her soft cheek, pulling her from slumber. Sure enough, her hazel eyes were put on display for me.

Once she had fully awoken she perked up, pushing herself as far up on the bed as she could. I must have startled her-my poor kitten.

Before she could bombard me with questions I spoke. "I know you must be confused as to why you're here, maybe a little frightened by the situation you've found yourself in -but my doll I can assure you there is nothing to fear." She didn't say anything, just watched me so I continued my rehearsed speech.

"You're here and you're here to stay. This is where you belong- with me in our home." I moved closer to her, she exhaled, her breath fanned across my face and I was glad we shared the same air.

"It's apparent I'll have to be patient with you, my beauty, but you'll have to learn to cope sooner or later-personally I prefer sooner." I smiled.

My baby pressed her fragile body into the hand carved head board a little a harder than before. I watched her golden cherry lips part as if she was going to speak but she said nothing.

"I've planned this moment for a very long time-most of your life, infact. I'm Harry and I love you. And now that I've got you, you'll love me too."

I watched her face contort in some emotion I couldn't pinpoint. Tears pricked her eyes and a hand covered her mouth.

I had upset her.

I eyed her, confused by her actions. "Rey what's wrong?" Suddenly there was an outburst-she caused it. She stood and backed into a corner. "Tell me I'm Bing punked. This is some kind of fucking joke right?" She almost laughed. "On the contrary love, this is anything but a joke-very real."

Next the gears in her mind began to turn, she was going to attempt to persuade me into letting her go free. "You have to let me go, please I'll do anything!" Her skull shook left and right, refusing to accept her reality.

I chuckled at my nervous doe, it was refreshing to see her so worked up. I followed her steps and crouched where she lay. "Oh I'm afraid I cant do that, I'm much too invested in us. "

She was whispering to herself.

I'm not quite sure what was said but I didn't like it. "Please, w-we can say you realised your mistake and this can all be over!" Her plea was pitiful and a little insulting, it's things like this that wear my patients thin.

"I've slaved countless days and nights to ensure our happiness together Rey so please...DO NOT ATTEMPT TO BELITTLE MY INTELLIGENCE!"

She cowered in my presence, sinking to the ground. There was thunder and lightning brewing in my mind but I called the storm. I ran a hand through my hair and kneeled to her level.

I shouldn't have blew up on her, I'll only prolong her progression.

"I'm sorry-that was uncalled for-Im sorry." I gently gripped a lock of her hair, passing it between my fingers.

Before I could cause her anymore dismay I left the room, she needed time to think.

A few hours later I came in and left her a dry half sandwich and a can of coke. She was facing the wall so she couldn't see me, but I knew she was awake- her body was too stiff to suggest otherwise.

"I've brought you something to eat love, I hope you're feeling more level headed now."

I wondered why she chose to stay silent. Rey was always so smart, maybe this was a defence tactic.

It wouldn't work on me.

I let her be.
