I've turned down the world for you, and yes you did the same,
I was the key to your heart,
The one you'd call your lover,
The one who you'd let your heart fall upon,
Well yes I was your keeper.
My arms were once a restorative place.
You'd come to me to bare along with you, your sorrow,
We felt the same pain,
We've been played and cheated on in the same game,
Your heart and soul was calling out my name,
And yes mines did the same,
For some reason this all changed,
But yet my mind keeps reminding me of your name,
You maybe have moved on as fast as you came.
I was a cheater.
Wasn't cheating on you that's for sure,
Lord knows I've lied to myself,
I've cheated my heart into telling you I felt the same,
And yet I had no shame,
Fact was.. I just didn't learn in time,
I've learn the feeling after you were gone,
This is something that happens a bit too much,
