It was 10 o'clock, your alarm went off loudly. An electric, catchy song which you found last week blasted through your phone its speakers. You groaned and before you stood up you stretched intensively, of course a seductive, loud noise has to be made while stretching. Satisfied you touched the cold ground with your bare feet. You're not that type of person who sleeps with socks on, you actually hate it because it feels like your feet are choking.

Anyway, you made your way to the kitchen to realize you still haven't done any grocery shopping because of last nights events so that meant that you won't have breakfast... well done Eve.

'maybe my douchebag neighbour has something' you thought. While organizing some stuff in the kitchen you debated whether you would knock on your neighbours door to ask for some food or that you would wait until your meetup with Noah

After a few minutes you decided it was better if you've had at least something small to eat so you grasped all your courage and once again knocked on the strange neighbour's door.

From some distance you could hear a loud groan and a few noises were made before the guy stumbled to open the door. You were met with a tired and, note, almost nude neighbour. He was only in his boxers which he was quite comfortable in by the look of his face.

"What the actual fuck, girl." He cursed with a slight morning voice. "It's..." He turned around to look at his clock and saw it was actually eleven in the morning which made it appropriate to knock the door. He sighed. "What do you want?" He asked, rubbing the dirt out of his eyes. "Sorry for the 'early' interaction" you said sarcastically. "But it just so happened that I have no breakfast and I was wondering if you'd have an apple or a cracker or summat for me." He smirked slightly. "You didn't do the groceries yesterday?" He laughed because he knew what had happened. You just stood there not knowing what to say. You decided being sarcastic was no use and knew you would never get that apple anyway. So you turned around, only to be grasped back by the weird neighbour next door who, while smirking, gave me a big, round, apple. He winked one last time before closing the door. You stood there, a bit dumbstruck as you were still progressing everything and you were debating whether or not to yell jerk after him again. You decided not to.

You did your usual dressing and washing-up routine only a bit faster now. You were running late for your date with Noah. Is it appropriate to call it a date? Maybe it's just a 'show you around' appointment.

with that questions you grabbed the last things from the table and stuffed it into your purse. Then you closed the door and hit the road to find Noah.

It was 12:09 you were waiting for exact 10 minutes now as you were one minute early. At times like this your anxiety shows up, telling you he is not coming anymore. But by now you have learnt to push that anxiety away. In the past you were pretty weak. You admit that but growing up, coping with different environments and having more experience you've made yourself stronger.

You felt someone touch you on the shoulder which immediately got you out of your flashback. It was Noah, finally.

"Hey Eve, I'm so sorry, I overslept." He said. You laughed because you know that could've happened to you too. After some small-talk you and Noah entered the tube.

You never liked tubes. You always thought they were scary because of the old and grey look of the walls and the floor and the benches maybe even the metro itself. You cringed a little and just kept walking behind Noah who was telling you all about the use of cards. He helped you get this card where you can travel with for a long time, kind off like the oyster cards in England. I learnt quick about the tube and after all the explaining Noah wanted to show me his favourite cafeteria. We would get a brunch together.

Finally we were in the centre. There were a lot of shops and restaurants and you could see a grocery store which we visited first as you really needed food at home. After that we ate a baguette at some french place, you were already liking where this was going.

Time flew by as we were obviously having fun. It was now half past 4 and we were sitting down at a bench in front of a fountain with some ice cream in our hands.

"Hey Eve, I know that you're here for a day and are probably very tired... But I was wondering... No nevermind, you wouldn't like it." He spaced out. "What is it?" You asked, clearly curious. "Well, I have this party tonight with a few friends and I thought, maybe you would like to tag along but maybe you would feel awkward..." You laughed at how worried he was. "No it's fine I can probably tag along, maybe not for long, but sure!" You saw Noah's smile growing. "Sweet!" He said.

After your little conversation you decided it'd be best if you went home to organise the groceries. Like the gentleman he is he walked you to your flat and you hugged. Then he trailed off and you went inside. This day sure was successful. You feel so comfortable with Noah around. 'Not like a boyfriend though.' You thought. You hoped he wouldn't mind that you didn't see your relationship in that way.

When you were finally ready with putting things away and complete your decorating, it was already half past nine. Yawning you made your way to the bedroom and changed into your pyjama. with a satisfied feeling you rested your head on the pillow and went to sleep.
