Pt 2 - Why you?

After a twenty minutes long walk you finally arrived at your flat. All the energy that was left in you was spilt by saying good evening to Abby and dragging yourself to the elevator. Arriving at the fifth and highest floor you stepped out of the elevator and unlocked your room. Disappointed by the look of the messy room you moaned and went straight to your bedroom. Luckily you made your bed earlier so you only had to undo yourself from your clothes and crawl under the covers. 

When you finally laid down and closed your eyes you were disturbed by the loud music that suddenly played from your neighbours side. You moaned loudly and grabbed a long T-shirt and your docs. It was time to meet the neighbour. And you were not showing mercy this time.

Before you left the room you checked the time. '22:14, that's an appropriate time to sleep.' You thought. 'Especially when you've had a fucked up day like mine.'

You left your room, again. And walked a few meters to the next one. Without preparing you started banging on the door. It took the asshole at least five minutes to hear it. When he opened the door you realized who it was. "No, not you." you said. "Damn, nice to meet you too." He said sarcastically. "I'm sorry dude, I know it's probably early for you but I have had a fucking rough day, I think you would know how rough. So can you please turn the volume down." I said, comprehensively using my hands to show how mad I was. "Woah that was an actual nice respond. Didn't expect that coming." He said to annoy you. "ah fuck off man I just wanna go to bed." He nodded. "Alright. Sure." You smiled, but more like a thanks smile not an actual bright smile. And then you turned around. "Nice legs by the way." He said. you turned around with slightly shocked eyes. But he just winked and then closed the door. You facepalmed once again and entered the room. You laid down in bed to come to the conclusion that now, you were fully awake again. You grabbed your phone and looked if there were any messages. Only two, and they were from an unknown number.

Unknown:  

Hi, How are you? :)

I'm Noah by the way, Ya know, That guy from the subway.

I laughed at the level of dorkyness that I already discovered from those little sentences.

Evelyn:

Hi! Yeah I'm fine, just had a rough day. But was glad I could enjoy that spicy but nice bun you made. :D                                                                                                                                                                         Noah:

Spit it out, I'm listening. ;)

Evelyn:

So basically, I just arrived here a few hours ago. I had to say goodbye for a long period of time to my friend who is now on a plane back to England, I found out there is almost literally nothing in the neighbourhood. And I almost got run over by a car. Not to forget, the jerk that saved me happens to be my neighbour. I'm doomed.

Noah:

Why is he a jerk if I may ask? 

Evelyn:

Right after he saved me he started yelling at me like some insane parent. And when I came home and wanted to go to sleep he had his music really loud like what the actual fuck I might murder him one day.

Noah:

Hahaha well that sucks. Anyway, do you want to meet up tomorrow? I can show you around and help you with the tube and shit. 

Evelyn:

Yeah that sounds nice! I'll meet you at the subway? at around 12:00?

Noah: 

Sounds good to me! Now if you don't mind. I'm gonna sleep. I had a long day as well. ;)

Evelyn:

Alright, goodnight! :D

Noah:

Goodnight. Eve X 

Hmm. A nickname and an "X". But we only met today... And only for fifteen minutes... 'I'm not gonna worry about that now. I'll see him tomorrow.' You thought. You put down your phone and laid your head down on the pillow, now realizing that you were exhausted, You fell asleep immediately.
