THE PAST EIGHT years had been difficult for her, but Myrcella McCall didn't regret a second of it all. She had raised a smart beautiful, green-eyed, fierce girl and she couldn't be more proud to be her mother, being a mother was something that she wanted more then anything in the world but that didn't mean she expected to be a mother so soon. However she ended up loving every second of it all, the good and the bad but that didn't mean a slight part of her didn't dream of what could have happened. Deep down she knew she didn't want it any other way.
The past eight years had been one hell of a rollercoaster ride, after the fire she had stayed in beacon hills until she gave birth to her daughter, wanting to be around family when she delivered the baby. When she had first told the news to her mother, she was so disappointed in her, yet there was a part of her that was excited for her and for herself, since Melissa did want a grandchild and she wanted her daughter to know how it felt to first hold her first born child in her arms; to see the colour of their eyes and seeing them look up at you with such love and warmth. In the end, Melissa ended up supporting her, she herself was young when she had Myrcella.
However, Melissa couldn't bare seeing her daughter endure all the harsh words and glares she'd receive from most of the people of the town, so once Myrcella and her baby were healthy enough to travel Melissa told her to leave beacon hills and sent her to live with her aunties in Puerto Rico. Myrcella had no problems leaving, despite being heartbroken to leave Scott and her mother, but after all Melissa understood that children came first. However, Myrcella didn't exactly want to stay in Puerto Rico her whole life, living off her family. She wanted to become a nurse like her mother to help people, so she often multitasked between managing her baby and her school work and it was worth all the sleep nights, since she achieved her goal and finally became a nurse. Despite how much her aunties wanted her and her child to stay, she wanted to be independent, so she moved to South America where she found Cora.
Back in beacon hills, Scott wasn't the only child she used to look after, she'd grown quite close to Cora since all the pack meetings and after all the times she'd go over to their house. Cora was overwhelmed with happiness when she saw her and her child, instantly becoming attached to Davina and becoming the aunty she had always wanted to be. However, South America just proved to be unsafe for them all and she wanted to move somewhere closer to her hometown, so they all moved to a small town by the border of Mexico and California, where they lived in harmony with the residents there and they settled down for good and gained many friends.
Both Maya and Cora raised the child, Davina, to learn about the supernatural and taught the young girl how to protect herself incase anything like what happened in South America were to happen again. Davina grew up to become a fierce girl with both Hale and McCall qualities and she was certainly wise for her age. They lived normal lives— well as normal as it came for the supernatural. Yet after Cora found Maya and Davina, she suddenly became obsessed with finding out if there was anyone else that escaped the fire and tried to find the rest of her family. Finding out about Derek, Cora set out to beacon hills to reunite with her brother, despite all the protects from Myrcella stopping her from leaving and telling Cora about the possibility of it being a trap by the hunters and that it wasn't true. However, Maya gave in and let her go, after making her promise to call every night to make sure she was safe and alive.
