Soul's POV

Thunder roared. I looked out the window as I finished cleaning the dishes. "Looks like there's going to be a storm tonight. I dried my hands and looked over at Maka. she was asleep on the couch, shivering. she squealed as more thunder boomed. "crap... I forgot Maka's afraid of storms." I slowly walked over to the couch and picked up Maka. I walked down the hall to her room. I silently set her down on her bed. I stood to leave, "Soul. don't go." Maka whimpered. I smirked as I sat down on her bed. I pushed her sandy blond hair out of her face. more thunder roared. Maka whimpered, grabbing my waist. butterflies danced in my stomach. My face blushed a bright red. I stood to leave only to be pulled back down by Maka. her grip tightened. "Soul, please don't go. I'm scared." she groaned. I smirked and laid down on her bed. I fell asleep.

Maka's POV

I sat up in my bed, rubbing my eyes. I felt something move next to me. I looked over to see Soul. I was about to Maka chop him when I remembered last night. I passed over him and walked into the kitchen. I looked up at the clock. "CRAP!!! WE'RE GOING TO BE LATE FOR SCHOOL!!" I yelled. I ran into my room and grabbed a sweater, a blue sweater vest, a black skirt, underwear and a bra. I ran into the bathroom and hopped into the shower. I quickly showered and put on the clothes. then brushed my teeth. I ran out of the bathroom and shoved two pieces of bread into the toaster. I grabbed my books, homework, and bag and grabbed my toast. Soul came into the kitchen sleepily and sat down. "what's for breakfast?" he asked groggily. "SOUL! HURRY UP! we're going to be late for school!" I yelled. "you know it's saturday, right?" he asked tiredly. I blushed bright pink. I grabbed a large cook book. "MMmmmmmaaaakkkkaaaaaa....

"Crap" Soul said.

"CHOP!" I slammed the book hard on his head. he fell to the floor, a red bump on his head. I ran into my room and jumped on my bed. I grabbed my phone and decided to text Liz.

M: hey Liz can you come over? I need advice.

L: sure! i'll bring Tsubaki and Patty too.

M: okay. can you get Kid to distract Soul?

L: I'll try. he's trying to fix the painting in his room because it fell.

M: okay bye.

L: see ya later.

I closed my phone and lay staring at the ceiling. my thoughts wondered to... Soul. I had a big crush on soul, but I don't think he likes me the same way. I grab my book and walked into the living room As the phone rang. "i'll get it!" Soul yelled. I continued to read until Soul hung up. "who was it?" I asked. "Kid. He was wondering if I wanted to shoot hoops with him and Black*star. I nodded. Liz had gotten kid to distract Soul. "bye" soul called as he grabbed his keys and walked out the door.
I read by myself until the someone knocked on the door. I opened the door to be tackled by Liz. "Now Maka. tell us what's the matter. she yelled. we walked over to the couch and sat down. 'here goes' I thought. "I kinda have a crush on... Soul."
