Soul's POV:

I drove down the narrow street. I turns the corner and parked next to the basketball court. "Hey guys, what's up?" I asked. Kidd and Black*star stopped there 1-1 game. "nothing. just kicking black*stars butt." Kidd said as he shot the ball into the net. "you sure about that?" Black*star growled. he leapt into the air grabbing the ball, shoving it into the net. "you know you just scored for me, right?" Kidd laughed. I grabbed the ball ad dribbled up the court and tossed the orange ball into the net. "guys, can I ask you something?" I asked. "sure Soul you can tell us anything." Kidd replied. "You can but I won't care." Black*star laughed. "BECAUSE I WILL SURPASS GOD ONE DAY!! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!" he roared. "okay then... moving on." Kidd said face-palming. "What's up soul?"

"Well, I have a... crush on Maka" I mumbled. to my disliking, they heard me. they looked at me, with blank faces. "WELL WHY DIDN'T YOU SAY SO SOONER??!" Black*star laughed. we walked over to a bench and sat down with me in the middle. "Okay, now tell us when this started." Kidd said. "well it started after we defeated Crona when the kishin was awoken." I mumbled. "well tell her how you feel." Black*star mumbled. "Easy for you to say. Patty is easier to talk to." Kidd growled. "ya and Liz was SO difficult." Black*star retorted. "guys get back to the point." I growled. they shut up. "Now how do I do this?"

Maka's POV:

"EH!!!" they all screamed in unison. "WHY DID YOU NOT TELL US SOONER!?!?!" Liz yelled. I looked down. "because I didn't want you blabbing to Kidd who might tell Soul." I mumbled. "Maka you know we wouldn't do that." Tsubaki said gently. "now, how do I ask him?!" I exclaimed. "isn't his birthday coming up?" Patty asked. we all just stared at her. "you know.. just tell him then." patty said. she looked up with her finger on her lips. "eh, what is she doing?" I whispered to Liz. "she's having a day dream about how it would be like. she thinks we can see it." She whispered. "All done!" Patty shouted. "see, just like that."

That's a great idea Patty. ha... ha ha." Liz said. "but that might not work out." "Oh" patty mumbled. "well why don't you just have me see if he likes you? Nya." Blair said walking into the room. the purple cat jumped up onto a chair and sat down. "wait how?" we all asked in unison. "Easy. I can sneak into his room and look threw his stuff." She meowed. "no don't do that, that would be rude. I don't want to invade his privacy." I mumbled.

After the girls left, I went to my room. I face-planted on my bed and stayed that way for a while. I heard the door open. "Oi Maka!! I'm home!!!" soul called from the kitchen. "OK Baka!!!" I yelled back. maybe Tsubaki's plan might work!" I slammed my fist into my palm.
