Space, Rainbows, and Darkness

Mike got up after a long rest. He grabbed his weapons, potions, and gear and went to space. He was worried for oxygen, but he went up anyways. Mike built a pillar under him until it went to space. Strangely, he didn't feel like he was suffocating. After a certain point, he decided to go horizontally. Mike was wondering about so many things.
How am I not dying from lack of oxygen? Is there any monsters in space at all? And...is that an island?
In the distance was a floating island. There was a little house on the island. Mike rushed there. Eager to see what's inside. Once he got there, he went straight in and saw a chest. He opened and saw horseshoes. There a note on a horseshoe.
"Prevents fall damage," Mike read out loud. He puts them on and goes out of the house. In the distance, he sees something long and flying. Also, it's coming towards Mike! He drew his sword and the monster rammed into Mike, dealing good damage. Mike   started running away for the monster. They fought on the platform he made. Mike was consistently dodging the attacks an swinging at him at the same time. He finally killed it and in the sky was souls. Like from the Twins but a different color. He used the magic mirror back home.
     At that point, he needed better armor. He made adamantite armor and a chest piece of hallowed armor. The hallowed chest piece was made from the bars that was dropped from the Twins. He bought a gun called the Minishark. It's considered material so he is going to upgrade this when he gets the chance. But for right now, he's just going to rest until the next day

Mike woke up from a nice rest. He was ready to head out. Mike got everything and went out. While his was walking, he saw a biome completely different. It was filled with rainbows and unicorns. There was pixies flying around as well. Mike decided to go in and check it out. He decided to go digging to check out was was in store for him.
Once Mike got deep enough, he saw these things and they were sparkling. He went closer and saw it completely, they were crystals! Mike decided to mine some and go on. He found some typical ores and found a little cavern. There, he sees something glowing.
"What could it possibly be?" Mike said out loud.
The thing came rushing towards him. It looked human but at the same time he wasn't. Was he human? Nevertheless, Mike drew his sword and killed it. And yet, it dropped a soul. This time, it was pink. He took the soul, the Soul of Light. Mike got bored and decided to go home.
Once he got there, he asked the guide about the crystals.
"These is used to create mainly weapons. Two major thing are Crystal bullets and a book that shoots these crystals. Though, you need a bookshelf to create any spells," the Guide told Mike.
He stored all the souls and crystals into a chest for later use. For now, he was kind of tired. Mike took a little nap to get ready to go back outside.

      Mike got up but he was sore from yesterday. He could hardly walk or move any other limb. He had a couple of scratches so the nurse took care of him. After that, he felt all better and left. He went a different direction today to head somewhere different and more gloomy. He eventually made without any scratches and went underground. The place he just entered, was the Corruption!

As Mike entered, he saw somethings changed since the Wall of Flesh was killed. Some monsters were upgrades and some were new. There was one slime with wings. Mike thought it couldn't get weirder, but boy, was he wrong.
Mike entered the underground with caution. As he entered, he saw a monster, it was attached to the wall and had limited movement. Mike decided to get close, thinking he was somewhat safe. Then, the monster shot fire at Mike. Mike tried putting out the fire with water. Put it still didn't go out. All of a sudden, the spirit appears.
     "This flames are Cursed Flames. They can't be put out no matter how hard you try. So instead of looking like a moron, try to recover and think of something to defeat the damned monster!" The spirit said before vanishing.
     Mike took his words into use and left the scene. Mike simply charged in with his sword and killed it with a couple of swings. He looks back to what happened and realized what a dimwit he was in the situation. The Cursed Flames hardly left a scratch and he was panicking over it. Also, the monster dropped a soul. It was purple this time.
In Mike's thoughts, he heard the spirit's voice. The Soul of Night. The soul of the Corruption. The fourth one you have achieved. First, was the soul of Sight, then Flight, after was Light, and lastly, Night.
"So it's the Soul of Night." Mike said to himself. That's four now, three to go.
     He thought to himself and thought it was time to fight something big again. He used the magic mirror back home and rested for a big fight.
