Surviving the Zombie Apocalypse

Landys and gentleman we are in Nevada

I wake up in the back of the truck. Carter is still asleep. So I look around. The places looks familiar.
"Hey Hannah are we in Nevada?" I ask tapping the top of the truck.
"Yes we are." Hannah says.
"Ok." I say.
"We are going to Vegas." Hannah says as she drives. I shake my head up and down. All of a sudden I heard someone call my name.
"Who's there?" I say as I turn around. Carter is still asleep. Then I see Ash on the side of the road.
"Stop the car!" I yell. Hannah dose right on command.
"What is it?" Hannah asks.
"It's Ash." I say.
"Addison your just going cr---" Hannah says as she sees Ash too. I go over to Carter and I try to shake him awake.
"Carter wake up! Wake up! Ash is here." I say kind of loud. I slap his face and he still is asleep. So I kiss him.
"Wake up!" I say. He turns over and opens his eyes.
"Addy what's wrong?" He asks.
"Ash is here!" I say.
"What? How?" Carter asks.
"I don't know how but he's here." I say.
"Let me sit up." He says and sits up. He sees a faint shadow of a guy.
"Can you come with me to look?" I asks Carter.
"I can." He says as he grabs a gun from the truck bed compartment.
"Here let me help you down." I tell Carter.
"Ok Addison." He says. I hop down and I help him down.
"Here are two crutches." I say as I give him them.
"Thanks addy." He says as we walk over to Ash.
"Ash is that you?" I ask. He nods.
"How though?" I ask. But he doesn't respond instead he comes running at Carter. I jump in front of Carter and he hits me in the leg. He try's to bite us. I grab Carters gun and I shoot Ash in the head. Ash's body falls to the ground. I fall to the ground too. Carter sees something but I've lost my hearing. I'm shaking and my leg is gushing blood. Carters afraid of something. I'm crying now. I see Owen hop out of the car and he runs to me. He shakes me and brings me back to reality.
"Addison we have to go!" Carter yells.
"Come on add hop in the back." Owen tells me.
"What's going on?" I ask.
"No time to explain." Carter tells me as he jumps into the back of the truck. I get up and jump in too. Jaxon and William stayed in the car. Hannah gets back in and starts up the car.
"What's going on Carter?" I ask.
"Zombies." Carter says.
"Oh." I say.
"Are you alright?" Carter asks me.
"Ya I think so." I say. But I look down at my leg and I've already lost a lot of blood.
"Here let me help you." Carter says as he saw what Ash did to me. Carter grabs the bandages and raps up my leg. I do scream a little bit.
"This will have to do until we get the stuff to stitch up your leg." Carter informs me.
"Alright." I say. I look at Carter and I see him taking the bandages off. He's pretty much all the way healed.
"You look so much better Carter!" I say shocked.
"Well, you look your same beautiful self." He says and comes closer to me. He leans his head down and kisses me. He lays down next to me. This gives me the opportunity to lay on top of him. I kiss him and he kisses me back.
"Carter have I ever told you how I love the taste of your lips?" I ask him.
"Not that I can recall." He says. He comes back for another kiss. I love his lips. We start to make out. I rub my hands up his stomach to his chest. My hands collect his shirt up and I pull it up and over his head. We continue to make out and I put my hands behind his head. He pulls my shirt off and leaves my tank.
"Carter I love you so much." I tell him.
"I know Addy. I know" Carter says as he rubs his hands down my back. I go back to his lips and I kiss him.
"Carter I wish you were my first kiss not Ash." I say.
"Oh shhh... Addy this can be your first kiss. Anyways I'm your first person who you've made out with. I'm also your first best friend." Carter tells me as I sit up.
"Your right." I say as I go back for one last kiss.
"Hey can we talk?" I ask Carter.
"About what?" He asks.
"Everything." I say.
"O--" he try's to say but gets cut off.
"We are here!" Hannah says as she parks in front of a hotel.
"Ok." Carter says. I tie my long shirt around my waist. For some reason Carter decides to leave his shirt off.
"Oh Carter you took your shirt off for me!" She squeals.
"I guess so?" He guesses.
"Oh your the best Cartery-poo." She says.
"Guys grab some weapons and a backpack." I say.
"Also Owen, Jaxon, and wait where is William?" I ask.
"H-he go-got bit." Jaxon says as he cries.
"Oh come here Jaxon." I say. He comes over to me and I hug him. Even though he's the oldest out of the three he needs a hug. Owen is crying in the back.
"Come here too, Owen." I say. He comes over and I hug him too.
"Shh..." I tell them both.
"Thank you Add. Thank you Addison." Owen and Jaxon thank me.
"Come on let's go in." I say. Everyone follows me. We go up to the highest floor. We all take the penthouse. Hannah, Carter, Jaxon, Owen, and me each get our own room.
"Set the stuff on the counter." I tell everyone.
"Ok." Everyone agrees.
"Can we choose our rooms?" Hannah asks.
"Ya sure." Everyone runs over to the rooms to choose one. While they were doing that I was putting everything away since we were going to be here for a while. After I was done I went to the room I got stuck with. It was a bit smaller then the others but it was a corner and two of the walls faced the strip. These walls are huge windows. It was beautiful. I set the last give I got from my parents on this glass table. It was a small stuffed animal. I see a bigger one on the bed it has a card. I take the card in my hands and open it. The card says:

Dear Addy,
For you my sister to sleep with at night.
I know you have nightmares,
A lot more now.
So I hope this gives you a bit of peace

Owen.

Owen is the best little brother. I take the stuffed animal in my hands. It gives me a little bit of comfort, but I won't sleep.
I walk out of the room. Everyone is out of their rooms too. Carter put a shirt back on. Hannah is wearing a fancy as hell dress. But still I keep walking towards them.
"How did you like my gift?" Owen asks me.
"Oh thank you so much Owen it's wonderful." I say as I take him in my arms. I hug him so tightly. He's one of the last people alive who are close to me.
"Carter helped me pick it out for you." Owen whispers in my ear.
"I'll tell him thank you." I say.
"Ok." Owen says as I release my grip.
"Dinner in ten minutes guys." I say.
"Ok." Everyone agrees. I feel like a family and we all have lost a lot. I start cooking. We are pretty much a family Jaxon is like my adopted brother or son. Carter my husband. Owen my brother. And Hannah I don't know what she is. Maybe we can become friends. She's 18 so I don't think so.
"Dinners ready." I say everyone comes over. We all eat. We laugh and talk. But there's one thing you have to keep in mind is that we may not make it out alive. But it's better to enjoy the moments and not worry about the world, the problems, the zombie apocalypse.
"Time for bed Jaxon and Owen." I say.
"Ok. Yay. Can you tuck us in?" They both ask.
"Sure, why not." I tell them. They follow me to their rooms.
"Addy can Jaxon and me sleep in the same room?" Owen asks.
"Sure." I say. We go into Owens room and I lay them down. I put the blankets over them. I tell them a story and sing them to sleep just like a mother. They go to sleep.
"Add, you'd be the best mom." Jaxon says as he falls asleep. I kiss both of their foreheads and I leave the room.
"Addison I didn't know you could sing so well. I didn't even know you sing." Carter tells me.
"Hey can I still you away from Hannah for a bit?" I ask.
"Sure." He says. We go into his room.
"Thanks for helping Owen out with the gift." I say.
"It's nothing." He says.
"It is something." I say as I kiss him.
"My Cartery-Poo where are you? You need to tuck me in if you know what I mean." Hannah calls for Carter.
"You can go." I say.
"Ok see you soon Addy." Carter tells me as he leaves the room. I wait five minutes then I go to my room. I sit on my bed looking out the window. I remember Vegas being so beautiful with all the lights, but now it's dark, and in flames. I lay down on my bed and I pull the covers up and over me. I fall asleep but all I can do is clutch my teddy bear and wake up screaming. After trying and trying over and over again I grab my flashlight and I turn it on. I walk over to Carters room and I open the door. He's not there? So I go over to Hannah's room and I open the door. I see Hannah laying on his chest. The chest I need. The heart beat she's listening to is the one I need. I run out of the room and I go to my room. I stand against the glass crying. I slowly slide down the glass wall, that I know will one day break, but that's not today. I sit crunched up. I go through my backpack and I pull a beer out. 4 left and I may drink them all tonight. Carters not here with me to tell me stop. No one is. I drink the whole beer and I throw it against the wall across from me. The flashbacks of Ash come back. The good ones turn into bad. Bad turn into horrible. His death scares me. The flashbacks of my parents, William, William and Jaxon's dad. Their deaths too. Then Carter all good memories as friends and as I don't know.
"Ahhh." I scream in frustration. I stand up and I look at the glass window. I grab my backpack, my bow, and my arrows.
I take a paper out of my backpack. On my glass table I write a letter to Carter that says:

I'm going to be gone for a bit. Take care of Owen for me.
He's my baby brother and he may be yours too.
I may or may not be back.
I may be on the roof shooting the dead.
I may be at first floor service killing them there.
I may be a zombie.
But promise me one thing, that you always will love me.
And I'm disappointed you didn't hear my screams.
You didn't hear me come into her room.
You didn't stay with me.
So goodbye and see you soon.

I go into Hannah's room and I lay the letter on Carter. I kiss his lips and I say goodbye. I let go. I run from the room to the kitchen. I grab a couple guns and knifes. I run through the door to the penthouse. I run to the stairs and I go to the top. I'm ready and I'll be back soon.
