Pick up

Picking up friends
We start to head to Jaxon & Williams house and the truck runs out of fuel.
"Carter stop the car real quick. I'll put fuel in." I say.
"Ok Addison." Carter says. Carter stops the car on the side of the road and I hop out of the back.
"Owen pass me a gallon of fuel." I say.
"Ok addy." Owen says as he grabs a gallon of fuel. Then he gave me the fuel.
"Thanks Owen." I say.
"I'm welcome." Owen says.
I take the cap off of the fuel and poor it into the gas tank. Once it was empty I threw it back in the truck and jumped in the back of the truck.
"Let's go." I say.
"Ok, let's go only a half a mile left intel their house." Carter says. We drive for five minutes then we arrive.
"Owen, stay here ok." I say.
"Ok addy." Owen says a bit nervous.
"Come on Carter let's run in real quick." I say.
"Ok. I'm coming Addison." Carter says. We walk towards their front door. Then Carter sees a zombie and shoots it.
"Come on we better go fast." Carter says.
"Ya I think we should." I say as I pick up my speed. We stop at the front door and I put my hand on the door noob. Something is off. The door isn't locked.
"Carter I don't think we should go in there." I say.
"Well what if they're hurt or something." Carter says.
"Your right, let's go." I say. I turn the door noob and I open the door. We enter the house.
"William? Jaxon? Are you guys home?" I ask nervous. No one responds.
"Addison let's go to their parents room." Carter says.
"Ok." I say. As we took one step towards the parents room I hear someone say "Hide, kids, Hide!"
"Come on Carter." I say. We walk into the parents room and we see a guy laying on the floor.
"Oh my gosh! Are you alright!" I say shocked as I run towards him.
"Get away from me! Stay back!" The man says in a gravelly voice.
"It's alright sir." Carter says.
"Who are, you." The man says worried.
"I'm Carter, this is Addison. We are looking for William & Jaxon." Carter says.
"How, how do you know their names?" The old man questioned.
"Owen is friends with them." I say.
"Oh ok." The man says. So I start walking over to the man and I see blood dripping out of his left arm so I pulled his sleeve up. Right away he pulled his sleeve down he didn't want to scare his kids, but he got bit. So I shook my head up and down say that I understand.
"Kids come out of the closet." He yells.
"O-ok d-daddy." One of them says. The kids come out of the closet.
"Let me enter deuce you to us. I'm Charlie Huston. This is Jaxon and this is William." Charlie says. Jaxon has dirty blond hair and brown eyes. William has blond hair and blue eyes.
"Ok nice to meet you William and Jaxon." I say.
"Nice to meet you too miss." William says.
"Kids can you please go out of the room real quick." Charlie asks.
"Yes papa." Jaxon says as him and William walk out of the room.
"Addison, Carter, can you guys take care of.." Charlie stops mid way of talking because he coughs up blood.
"Can you guys take good care of them?" Charlie asks.
"Why?" Carter asks.
"Because I got bitten earlier this morning, and when I got home I collapsed on the floor and scared them. Now I'm coughing up blood. I am slowly turning." Charlie says.
"We will Mr.Charlie." I say.
"And please do what you have to do to me. I don't want to be one of those monsters." Charlie asks of us.
"Ok." We say.
"Jaxon, William come say goodbye to your father." I say.
"Ok." They both say. They run into the room and hug their father.
"Daddy why do we have to leave you?" William asks about to cry.
"Because I'm unable to fight." Charlie says and gives them a tight hug and to kisses.
"Daddy we will miss you." Jaxon says.
"Addison can you please take them out to your car." Charlie asks.
"I will." I say as I walk them out to the car. Once we left the house we heard a bang.
"Daddy! Noooooo!" William says upset.
"William, you can't go back." I say as I buckle him into the front seat of the truck.
"Da-daddy." William says while he cries. I know Charlie was going to go when I saw the bite. But I didn't want the kids to see it or hear it. Jaxon jumps into the back of the truck.
"Hey Owen any zombies?" I ask.
"No, but I have a hungry stomach." Owen says.
"Ok we will eat soon." I say to Owen.
"Hey where is Carter shouldn't he be out bye now?" Owen asks.
"He had to take care of some stuff." I say. We wait about five more minutes and Carter doesn't show up.
"Guys I'm going to run in and see what's taking so long." I say.
"Ok." Jaxon says.
"Jaxon, William, there are guns in the back of the truck grab one." I say.
"Yes ma'am." William says. I run to the front of the door and I get ready to go in. I open the front door and I run in to the parents room. I see Charlie's corpse shoot in the head. It grossed me out so I left the room.
"Carter, Carter! Where are you." I yelled. Then I heard a muffled scream. I ran towards it. It was coming from the kids bed room. I opened the first room and I saw Carter.
"Carter!" I say as I run to him. I remove the tape on his mouth.
Then he yelled "behind you!" I looked behind me and saw a shadow of a person. I pulled my bow off of my shoulder and pulled an arrow. I loaded the bow and saw the shadow again and I released the arrow and hit the guy in the chest.
"Here let me help you Carter." I say as I untie the ropes. I grabbed his hands and pulled him up. We walk over to the body.
"Who is that?" I ask.
"I'm ash Leviy." The guy says.
"Wait the ash who goes to Kansas high?" I ask.
"Yes. Why?" Ash asks.
"Oh my god I'm so sorry ash! I'm Addison this is my best friend Carter." I say.
"Oh ok, I'm sorry for what I did to him." Ash says as he pulls the arrow out of his chest and stands up.
"What a nice way to make a new friend." Carter mumbles.
"Come on Carter help me carry him to the truck." I ask of Carter.
"Ok fine." Carter says as he helps carry him.
"So why are you here?" I ask.
"Because William and Jaxon were my sisters friends before she died. So I heard a gun shoot and ran over here." Ash says.
"How did you get in the house without using the front?" I ask.
"I hoped the fence." Ash says.
"Oh ok." I say.
"Back to what I was saying. So when I hoped the back fence and saw Charlie's dead body I got worried. That's when me and Carter made eye contact. I was planning on shooting him but then I heard someone coming so I just tied him up and the that's what happened." Ash says. Right when he was done talking we stopped at the truck.
"Carter lift him up onto the truck bed please." I ask.
"Fine." Carter says irritated.
"Wow you guys have a lot of stuff in here." Ash says.
"It's Better to be prepared." I say looking for the first aid kit.
"And a lot of good weapons I can use." Ash says.
"Ash don't you dare shoot me." Carter says.
" I wasn't planning to." Ash says.
"Here let me help you." I say as I pull his shirt off to bandage the wound. Once I was done I sat him up in the back of the truck.
"Addison, I don't really like this guy. Even though I know you like him." Carter says.
"Oh come on. Your just being over protective." I say.
"Can we go know?" Jaxon asks.
"Ok let's go." I say as I hop into the back of the truck with ash, Jaxon, and Owen. William is 8 so he's too young to ride in the back and Carter has to drive.
"Hey why did you have to kill our dad?" Jaxon asks.
"He got bitten. He didn't want to bite or hurt anyone. So he asked us to." I say.
"Oh ok." Jaxon says. While Carter is driving to Hannah's I look for the food. I grab 6 cans of food.
"Here you go guys." I say as I give them out. Everyone eats as Carter drives to Hannah's. After 20 minutes we arrive at Hannah's apartment. Carter stops the car and gets out. I jump out of the back too. But Ash also dose.
"Addison you can stay here I'll go with your Friend." Ash says.
"Ok, I guess." I say as I hop back into the car.
Ash and Carter walk to Hannah's apartment.
"Hey Carter, your friend I like her. She is cute." Ash says.
"Ash you stay away from her!" Carter says.
"You know she likes me. Your just too protective over her. And if she dose like me don't worry I won't do anything except what she needs me to do and be." Ash says.
"Fine let's just get this done." Carter says. They go into Hannah's apartment and pick her up. They get back in the truck. "Come on let's go pick up Zoey and Mia." Carter says.
"Carter I'll drive." I say grabbing the keys out of his hands.
"No I'm driving." Carter says taking the keys back.
"Alright fine you can drive." I say as I get in the back. We drive to Mia's house and we see her body on the ground dead. Then we drove over to Zoey's house. She was dead too. We drove to Matt and Jacobs house. Jacob was dead. Matt and his dog where dead too.
"I guess this is our crew unless something changes." I say looking at everyone. We have 7 people in our group.
"Where should we go?" Carter asks.
"Disneyland! Disneyland! Disneyland!" Jaxon, William, and Owen chanted.
"I guess Disneyland, it is." I say.
"Ok let's go." Carter says as he starts the truck. The one thing I know is I'm on a journey with a group of mostly all boys.
