Chants of 'Fab 5' and 'Manik' filled the park where Fab 5 were going to give their last performance of their life.
First international band of India is going to lay down it's ammunition tonight and what better way to end it where it all started in the first place! Yes this is the same park where Fab 5 as college going teens had given their first public performance in a charity event.
Suddenly the microphones came alive with a hiss and the crowd went quiet , like pin drop quiet! Boom! Came the voice of their favourite vocalist.
" Good evening mumbaikars! How are you guys doing!!"
And then the silence became surreal because it errupted into cheers as loud as thunders!
" Wow ! It still feels so fresh!"
The crowd was looking frantically for Manik, but he was not on stage.
" It still feels like yesterday when Fab 5 was struggling to find it's base. And now it's time to say good bye! It has been an incredible journey. And all the share goes to fantastic people like you! So take this performance as a way to show our gratitude. From all of Fab 5 let me tell you....WE LOVE YOU !!"
And with that Fab 5 came together on the stage with a smile and their trademark arrogant attitude. Crowd was now going mad. And calmed down only when the performance started.
Fab performed a medley which had all the famous songs from their albums all through the years.
By the time they finished , the mood was nostalgic.
