I couldn't go back to sleep after all that my heart was racing too fast. I tried I really did but I ended up just unpacking things. It was around 8 am when I started unpacking. I finally finished around 11 am. I had calmed down in the process so the blush had faded away and my heart rate returned to normal. I looked around a little proud of myself because everything looked nice and neat. Everything was just were I wanted it to be and it very much pleased me.
I started getting hungry and I needed food but I was afraid of facing vinc. Hunger got the best of me and I walked out of my room and to the kitchen to try to find something simple like cereal or toast. As I was looking around I heard footsteps and turned my head towards the doorway to see a very rough looking vinc walking in. I tried not to think about what happened and just smiled at him trying not to laugh. "Rough night?" I knew the answer but wanted to ask. He replied with a small nod and went over to the small round table in the center of the kitchen and sat in one of the chairs. He folded his arms on the table and laid his head down on them groaning. I found some cereal and made a small bowl and joined him at the table. We sat in silence for a bit as I ate. I didn't mind. We both aren't much of morning people so this was just normal.
"Hey zion..." He lifted his head and looked at me. I hummed in response as my mouth was full and I'm not a rude person. "Did....did we fall asleep together last night?" His question shocked me and I almost choked. I played it off and gave him a small nod as an answer. "Guess we were more tired than we thought...." He yawned a bit then looked at his phone. He started typing like he was texting and I was curious who but I wasn't going to be nosy.
I finished up my cereal and put the dishes in the sink. "Zion I have a question," he looked towards me. I looked at him and I was sparked with curiosity. "I have an answer then," I playfully responded. "How do you feel about meeting some friends of mine?" He rubbed his eyes as he asked. I though about it for a second then responded, "I wouldn't mind sounds like fun vincy." He gave me a tired smile and I smiled back. He went back to texting and I just sat across from him and we have a little bit of casual catch up.
