Chapter 1

Rocky 💫

"Uggggghhhhh whhyyyyyy???!" I groaned.

"It's time to get up!" My Mom said snatching the covers off of me.

"Okay! I'm up!!" I yawned and stretched.

"Good. I'll be downstairs cooking breakfast" she walked out of my room, heading downstairs.

"Yes ma'am!" I called to her and fell right back asleep.

*1 hour Later*

"ROCHELLE ANITA TYSON!!" I felt a bucket of cold water splash on me.

"MOM!! WHAT IN THE FU-?!" I jumped out of bed.

She raised her eyebrow as she squinted at me "what in the What ?"

"F-Fudge" i stammered.

"Uh huh. I told you to be ready AN HOUR AGO!"

"Heheh" I laughed nervously. "My baaaaad" I cheesed at her.

"You have 30 minutes to get ready. If you're not ready by then, I'm leaving your butt here" she said through gritted teeth.

I sighed. " Why do we have to move anyway " I mumbled

" You know your grandmother is sick, so we have to move in and help her "

" yeah okay whatever " I brushed past my mom and went into the bathroom. I heard her sigh but I didn't really care. I took a shower, did my face routine, did my hair, and headed downstairs. I ate the breakfast my mom prepared for me and sat in the car.

Shortly after she came out with our bags and put them in the trunk.

"Would've been nice if I had gotten help" she looked at me.

"Would be nice if I can stay here" my mom let out a long sigh.

"Welp...time to go" and she raced off to the airport.

We finally arrived at my Grandma's house and I was so tired! I was starting for the front door until my mom pulled me back.

"Go get the bags" she said as she shoved me to the trunk.

" gO gEt ThE bAgS " I mocked her as I rolled my eyes. I was getting my bag until the box above it started to fall. I tried to stop it but I couldn't catch it in time. I let out a low scream waiting for the pain to inflict on me. Until someone behind me, reached in front of me and grabbed the box.

I turned around to see a tall Lightskin boy with curly hair and braces smiling at me.

"T-Thank you" I said lowly, looking down at my hands.

"For what?" He questioned as he sat the box onto the ground.

"Saving me.."

"No problem" he chuckled. I'll save you anytime" he whispered in my ear as he smirked and walked away.

That smirk....I was just standing there, daydreaming...thinking about his sexy, devilish smirk...Something about him sends a shiver down my spine. I'm so curious about him. I want to make him mine.....

"Hey!" I shouted. Snapping out of my daydream. "I didn't get your name." I turned around, but he was gone. I searched but he was nowhere to be found.

I gathered the rest of the boxes and bags and settled them into the house. I flopped into my bed, putting my headphones in, and turning the volume up to the max.

"I can't stop thinking about that mysterious boy" I thought to myself.

"How come he disappeared so quickly?"

"He must live near"

"and even if he doesn't...I'll still find him."

"ROCHELLE!!" My mother snapped me out of my thoughts.

"Wassup?" I asked while taking the headphones out of my ears.

"I've been calling you for the past 5 minutes" she rolled her eyes. "Anyways, it's time to eat and also pick out something cute for tomorrow"

"Why" I said getting out of bed.

" Because.....you start school tomorrow " she held her ears shut so she wouldn't hear my high pitched scream. "I love you BYE!" She yelled, while rushing out of my room.

I just lost my WHOLE appetite, after she said that word, "School" I gagged. I slammed my door, locking it, and went to sleep.

I was having a dream about that boy from earlier.
"Rochelle...will you do me the honor of  being my girlfriend?"

"Yes!!" I cried. We were just about to kiss when...

A shoe was thrown at my head!

"IM UP MOM JESUS!!" I yelled, sitting straight up.

"Good" she smiled. "I woke you up an hour early so you can do everything you need to" I checked the clock seeing that it was 4:24.

"When does school start?" I questioned.

"6:50"

"OH HECKSSS NAWWW!!" I tried to hide under the covers but my mom already grabbed my arm and proceeded to drag me out of bed.

This is a new story that I had in my drafts so I just wanted to publish it! I might update "All Mine" today. Just not really feeling that story no more🤷🏽‍♀️.
