CHAPTER 3 (FED UP/SKYLA)

I did a lot of thinking at work. I'm putting up with all this drama for what? Maybe I just need some me time after I get off I will go to the mall they stay open until ten I have 30minutes left wow time really do fly.

"Hey Naomi, what are you thinking about?" My co-worker Drelin asked

"Nothing" I said

"You are thinking about something, I have been calling your name for two minutes now." Said Drelin

"O sorry I wasn't paying attention. Did you need something?" I asked

"Yeah I need you to pull up Mrs. Jones file for me." Said Drelin

"Ok I'm right on it." I said

"So, you still deal with that lame Jace huh." Said Drelin

"Huh. What? Where did that come from?" I said

"It's obvious Naomi walking in here with all that makeup on your face." Said Drelin

"Look Drelin my personal life has nothing to do with you." I said

"True but Naomi you need to leave him alone. What do you see in him anyway?" Said Drelin

I sighed, I did not know how to respond to the question honestly besides his good looks and sex Jace had nothing going for himself. I never took time to think of why I deal with him. I pulled up the files for Drelin and printed them out as fast as I could I just wanted him out of my face I had enough things going on in my life and I don't need him trying to add more.

"Here you go. I said

"Thanks Naomi but seriously you need to leave Jace alone I have known Jace all my life and I'm telling you that nigga foul. Said Drelin

"I thought you and Jace were cool Drelin? I said

"We are cool Naomi I just hate to see a good woman get treated that way." Said Drelin

"I appreciate the help but I can handle my own Drelin." I said

"Ok I will leave it alone but only if you go out with me." Said Drelin

"Now you know I can't do that." I said

"C'mon Nae go out to dinner with me. I'm not trying to come on to you just want to take you out." Said Drelin

"If Jace finds out about this he will kill us both." I said

"I won't tell if you don't." said Drelin

What the hell it's not like I'm trying to sleep with guy.

"Ok Drelin only this one time." I said

"Cool you like red lobster." Said Drelin

"Yes, I love it." I said

"Ok see you in a minute...Dr. Smith said we are closing after he finish giving Mrs. Jones her test results." Said Drelin

This is a big risk I am about to take if Jace finds out that I went out with his friend he we kill me.

After work, me and Drelin headed to Red Lobster he drove I left my car at the job. I was nervous as hell and I felt guilty, all kinds of crazy thoughts were running through my mind. What if Jace is following me or what if he sees me with him? I need to get him out of my mind and enjoy my time now. Once we made it to the restaurant we went in the waitress took us to our table. After we were seated Drelin begin to talk.

"Why are you looking so nervous?" Said Drelin

"Because I am nervous" I said

"Look you good with me Nae don't worry about Jace just enjoy yourself." Said Drelin
