"Jennie Kim, get down here!" Chaeyoung stood in the middle of their shared home's living room with her arms crossed, weight shifted on one leg. Jennie peeked her head out around the corner.
"What is it, mom?" She asked, coming into full view, leaning on to the wall beside her.
"What the heck was that with Jae?"
"What? The other day you were over here fawning over him and telling me this story of how you two met and now you're angry that you two actually hung out?" She raised an eyebrow and tilted her head to the side.
Chaeyoung brought her hand up to her face, pinching the bridge of her nose, "Jennie. He said he's my soulmate." Jennie's demeanor changed and her eyes suddenly widened. She pushed herself off of the wall to walk over to Chaeyoung.
"Well, what do you think?" She grabbed Chae's shoulders to sit her down on the couch.
"I honestly think he's the one-"
"Isn't that what you said about-"
Chaeyoung was quick to turn to her "We don't talk about Him," she snapped.
"Ok, ok. Sorry. I just don't want to see you so broken like you were before."
Rosé's features softened, "I know... but seriously, I think he's the one. My heartbeat was going crazy earlier AND, for the past few days, I've been checking outside my window to look out across the street to his building. Plus, when we kissed-"
"Wait, ya'll kissed?"
"Yeah, he said that that was his ability."
"Girl, I don't know about you, but that should raise a couple of flags."
"Jen."
"I'm just saying."
"Jen, I seriously don't know what to do! Should I contact him?"
Jennie stared at the floor for a second, thinking, "If you like him that much and you seriously think he's the one, then I say go for it."
Rosé smiled, "If you really think that that's what I should do, then I will. Thanks. You've always been a great friend."
"Yeah, yeah. Whatever." Jennie rolled her eyes playfully, standing up to leave whilst Rosé dug into her bag for the piece of paper she was given. She felt around the contents of the bag and quickly started to discard it of objects that weren't the piece of paper. Turning the bag upside down, she shook it; making sure that she didn't miss anything. Her hand, still gripping the small bag, went limp and she looked around her surroundings with wide eyes.
"I lost it..." she murmured.

"Dude, stop smiling," Jaehyun looked up from his phone and looked straight at his friend, "it's creepy."
"I can't really help it. Fyi, you're creepier in general."
Yuta rolled his eyes and looked back at Jaehyun, "Who are you even texting to look so happy?"
Jaehyun dropped his phone on the table and sat back, "no one, actually. I am waiting for a text message, though."
Yuta gave him a confused look, "What the heck. Are you sure I'm creepier?"
"Yup. I'll have you know that I'm having a very good day today."
"Well that's rare. Since when was Jung YoonOh happy? In all the years I've known you, you've always been an old, grumpy fart."
"Shut up, Nakamoto," Jaehyun sat back and looked up at the ceiling, "It's just that I actually found my soulmate."
"Oh, that's nice- yOU WHAT?!" Yuta was up from his seat by this point, "dude, I thought you were gonna die lonely."
"I thought that to-"
"She must have pretty low standards if she was willing to kiss you," Jaehyun raised a fist and Yuta shrank back and put his arms in front of his face, laughing at his own joke, "no, but dude, are you actually serious?"
"As serious as a person can get."
"What's her name?"
"Oh, her name's Rosé or Chaeyoung. She's from Australia."
"Cool.... when can I meet her?" Yuta grabbed the remote control to the T.V. and turned it on to a random channel.
"Hopefully soon. She's still doubtful. So, I gave her some time to think about it."
"Awe, what a gentleman you are," he teased, wiggling his finger in my face, "she'll let up. She can't resist her soulmate for that lon-" a knock on the door interrupted Yuta's sentence as both Jaehyun and he eyed the front door suspiciously, "bet you five bucks she's there."
Jaehyun rolled his eyes walking towards the door, "I don't even think she knows where I live," Yuta shrugged but kept his eyes on the door. Jaehyun opened it, finding a hooded figure who had their head down and was twiddling with their thumbs, "may I help you?" Jaehyun asked, raising an eyebrow. The figure slowly looked up to stare into his eyes. His breathe got caught in his throat, "Chaeyoung."
Chae bit her lip, anxious and embarrassed, "hey, I just kinda lost your number so I thought that I could come here and talk to you in person instead- wait, why do you have your wallet out?"
"Oh, ah, it's nothing," he had a five dollar bill in his hand, while another hand took it from his. Yuta's head popped up from behind Jaehyun, startling Chaeyoung.
"I see you need some alone time so I'll just excuse myself," he stepped aside and put his shoes on, stopping near Chaeyoung, "nice to meet you," he winked, as he passed by her out the door. She placed her attention back on Jaehyun who just stood at the door, staring at her.
"Jae?" she waved a hand to his face, fixing his state of trance.
"Right, sorry. Come in." He opened the door a bit wider for her to come inside, clearing his throat, "did you want anything to drink? Water, tea...?" he asked, walking towards the kitchen while Chaeyoung took her shoes off.
"It's fine. I'm not gonna stay too long," she wandered around the living room, eyeing each of the pictures hung up on the wall.
"Oh, uh, ok. So you wanted to talk?"
"Yeah," she sat on the couch, "I just wanted to say that I believe you," she kept biting her lips and he gulped on air, "I wanted to say that I think that you're my soulmate, too." at her words, Jaehyun tried to hold back a wide grin from spreading across his handsome face. He tried, "I still want you to court me though," she added. He raised an eyebrow and walked towards her, sitting next to her on the couch.
"Court you when I'm 100% sure we're getting married in the future?" She felt heat rush up to her pale cheeks.
"Y-yeah. I just want to get to know you better before making things 'official'," she cleared her throat, noticing the odd looks he's been giving her, "I know you're a special case, but everyone I know that have found their soulmates all told me that the guy courted them since the guys would find out that they were soulmates without the woman's knowledge and actually make an effort before revealing it. I just want a normal experience." She rambled for a bit causing Jaehyun to chuckle.
"It's ok, you don't need to explain," he sent a charming smile her way, "I guess I'll just have to make you fall in love with me."
