A/N:
Scrolling through my drafts I realized that I have this book half started and never published.
I recently returned to mako mermaids/h2o da Fandom through a tik tok and I wanted to read a nice fanfic book but I couldn't find one exactly that I liked, so you you guys now the saying.
If you can't find it, do it yourself.
And so, I re read what I already had written to get a feel of Emilia again and so, this chapter came up.
Hope you like it and those who were excited for me to update here I am. Sorry to keep you waiting. This time I'm actually determined to finish through this book
Thank you :)
~*Peace and Out,
De*~~8~
Emilia's new day started out with a swim through the riff, the events of the night prior on her mind as she reached the shore of Gold Coast, using her moon ring to change herself back to her human form

Emilia walked inside the Ocean Cafe, stopping abruptly in confusion seeing the brunette girl from last night covered with a pink familiar substance on her legs, blinking in surprise.
"A northern mermaid" Emilia murmured to herself slowly walking forward, unconciously having the same shocked expression of the brunette guy and blond guy standing in front of the girl as she fell back on her back, transformed into a mermaid.
The three of them stared at the brunette mermaid bewildered.
Emilia shook her head, looking away when the guys turned around making sure no one was watching. She sat down on a table, giving her back to them and looked up gaping in disbelief and amusement when the blond guy jumped into a bench calling out to all the people.
"Who wants to go to a party?!" People turned their heads to him, confusion written on their faces "Cause... It's my birthday and you're all invited. Even... Those of you I don't know" he pointed to some people, including Emilia, starting to stutter "Because a stranger is just a friend you haven't met yet"
Emilia smirked amused but couldn't help but glance behind her seeing the brunette guy dragging the mermaid into hiding from behind the clothes they had put to cover them.
"There's good music and... And food... And clowns" Emilia scrunched her nose almost laughing out loud at the bewildered looks of the land-people at the cafe "No, no, no" the guy realized he was losing their attention, starting to turn away and that kinda also made Emilia worried because of the other mermaid risking exposure "There's a slippery slide and there's puppies and there's kittens and streamers... a little horse and a jumping castle and uh.." Emilia looked around at the land people calling him out on a bluff and she couldn't help but agree though the gesture of distracting everyone was working "You know, music, techno usually, and some dance stuff as well. Balloons falling from the ceiling and... I hope to see you all there"
Emilia chewed on her thumbnail, chuckling under her breath when a blonde waitress stated it wasn't the guy's birthday.
The guy pointed at the blonde "It will be. In four months and three weeks and three days"
Emilia shook her head, grimacing, feeling sorry for the guy. "Sucks to be you buddy" she murmured, walking away.
"There's a northern mermaid in here. Let's watch out about her" she frowned to herself as she walked away.
