"brinley?" allanii questioned with a puzzled look on her face after she opened corinna's apartment door. i gave her a slight smile and pulled her into a tight hug, pulling her out of the place. "oh happy birthday!" she smiled wide, hugging me back and jumping up a little. "i know i don't deserve this hug, so i'm just gonna take it while i can."
i laughed a little and pulled back a few spaces from her body, but still kept my arms wrapped around her. "you really don't deserve this or anything i'm about to say, but i miss you so much and i really don't think i can do this anymore. i woke up this morning upset that we didn't get to do our birthday routine and it's so boring in the house without you, i miss my best friend." i talked on without taking a breath in between my words.
allanii laughed and shook her head, pulling me back into a tight hug. "i'm sorry for everything i did, you deserve a better best friend. i should of said sorry the night everything happened, or better yet i should of never slept with kian. i can't make up excuses for my actions, but just know that i miss you so fucking much and i'll do anything to have you back in my life." she looked up to me with glossy eyes.
"shut up allanii, you'll always be my best friend even after putting us both through hell and back. i'm sorry for the things i said to you in the moment and kicking you out. you didn't deserve me pushing you that far." i sighed a little then quickly smiled. "but at the same time it sees like one door closed and another one opened." i peeked around allanii and saw corinna sitting down on the living room couch. i smirked a little and looked back at allanii. "of course, you're welcome to come back home, but i won't be upset if you want to pack up your things and move in with corinna." i smiled again and shrugged my shoulders.
"wait you really mean it?" she had so much hope showing in her facial features. "do you really think i'm not going to move back in? we both know that's our dream house and a dream duo. i'm not about to waste that." she laughed and turned on her heels. "i'll be right back, we have to celebrate your birthday anyways. well, what's left of it." she winked at me before disappearing into corinna's place, grabbing her stuff.
