Anime: Kuroko no Basuke

~Kagami's pov~
As I received my order- a tray full of burgers-like usual I went to sit at my usual table here at Manji Burger. I set the tray down and sat at the chair by the door. Picking up a burger and unwrapping it I saw cyan hair and bright blue eyes as I took I bite. Nearly choking on the mouthful I swallowed with great difficulty.
"KUROKO STOP DOING THAT!" I yelled at the blue haired boy.
"Stop doing what, Kagami-kun?" He replyed as he sipped his drink, a vanilla milkshake.
"Stop coming out of no where! You are going to give me a heart attack!"
"I've been here the whole time," he sipped the shake, "And that's highly unlikely Kagami-kun."
Man, did this guy irritate me. With his lack of presence and his blue hair.
Wait.
Blue hair.
I never really thought about it but that's extremely irregular.
"Say Kuroko. Is your hair naturally that color?" I asked, unwrapping another burger.
"Of course it is. I am not some freak who dyes their hair unnatural colors, Kagami-kun." He stared at me with no emotion.
"Well it doesn't seem natural to me. Come to think of it all you Generation of Miracles have weird hair colors." I said taking a bite of my burger.
"What about you Kagami-kun? Your hair is strange as well."
I blinked. Is my hair weird? I never thought so. I reached up and touched my hair.
Is he.. laughing?
"Oi! Don't laugh at me!" Did I mention this guy irritates me?
"I didn't mean it as a bad thing. Your hair is actually very cute on you." He smiled and sipped his drink.
I could feel my face warming up. Not only did he say somethimg so embarrassing but he also smiled that incredible smile- wait what am I thinking?! I shook my head to clear it of those thoughts.
"The hell do you get off on saying those embarrassing things?!" I didn't mean to shout but I did and everyone in the place is looking at us now.
"You didn't need to yell." He sipped his milkshake again.
"Whatever lets just get out of here."
~Time skip to park~
I can't believe he made me buy him another milkshake. This guy..
"Kagami-kun." He said as he stopped walking and turned to me. I stopped walking and looked at him raising an eyebrow.
"Yeah?"
He stepped closer to me. I gulped and closed my eyes.

.....
"Kuroko?" I said opening my eyes. He was just standing there... where did he? I started looking around frantically.
"Kuroko! Where did you go?!"
"I'm right here."
I looked directly in front of me and sure enough he was still there. What is that face..? It's slight but he looks.. annoyed? No. He looks hurt.
"A-Ah sorry I didn't see you there." I rubbed the back of my neck and looked back at him. He doesn't have any emotion on his face again. I'm sure I saw it though. There's no way I imagined such a face on Kuroko.
"What is it you wanted?"
"Its not important. Never mind." He turned away and looked off into the distance sipping his milkshake.
"Nothin' huh?" I watched that cyan hair fly as the wind blew it. In a way, it almost looked like water. Though I hate to admit it, its captivating. I want to touch it.. I shook my head. No, I can't. He'd think I'm weird and gross. Wait when did his opinion start mattering so much..?
"Kagami-kun!"
Huh. Oh I didn't realize I'd been staring so long. My face burned. Oh no, now I really seem weird and gross.
"Y-Yeah?"
"What were you thinking about? You had a weird look on your face.."
Uh Oh. Not good.
"Ah.. n-nothing much."
An obvious lie.
He narrowed his eyes at me.
"Are you sure?"
"Y-Yeah of course." I smiled forcefully.
He sighed.
"Why won't you tell me the truth?"
What do I say? I just don't want you to find me disgusting because I think I like you. Wait. What the hell?! When did I decide that?!
"Well.. I just can't."
"So you are lying." He sighed and gave me a look that I can't stand. It makes my heart hurt..
"If I told you.... you wouldn't want to be around me anymore." I looked away from him.
"That's not true, Kagami-kun."
"How can you say that before you even know what it is?" I looked back at him. He had a determined, serious look on his face.
"Because, I could never dislike Kagami-kun."
Why am I even considering telling him..? I really shouldn't.. but I'll never get a better chance.
"Kuroko." I looked at him intently as the wind blew slightly. He stared back at me with those beautiful eyes of his.
"I was thinking about how I.. well how I probably like you I think. I've never liked anyone before but I'm pretty sure I like you." There I said it. Now he can call me repulsive and leave.

.....
Is he.. laughing?
"Oi. Don't laugh!" My cheeks burn. I can't believe he's laughing.
"No no Kagami-kun, I'm not laughing because its funny. I'm laughing because I'm happy." He smiled at me.
"H-happy? You mean you?" As the thought that he feels the same way sank in, I got really excited.
"Yes, Kagami-kun. I like you too."
