I start running as fast as my short legs will let me, yes I'm small get over it. I'm actually smallest in my year. I finally make it to school and slip through the gates just as they were closing and sigh with relief. I catch my breathe and take a drink of water just as my friends walk over to me. It's odd really, there is five of us but we all are different. There's the emo (me), Girly Girl (Cassy), Chav (Jade), Goth (Chloe) and Tomboy (Shannon). But yet we all get alone perfectly fine, odd? I thought so. "Hey" Cassy smiles, her blondy-brown hair hanging over her shoulders and her block fringe just reaching her eyes. I give them all a wave and pull my hoodie down, careful not to mess my hair up

"This is new, you're here before class starts" Shannon laughs, flicking my side fringe which falls into my eye but I don't really mind "Well, I stormed out for once" I smirk and move my bag over my shoulder more. We start talking about the trip tomorrow and who's sitting with who. I laugh at one of Chloes jokes as usual, well they are pretty funny, and look around.

My eyes land on a boy who's staring at me. Is there something on my face. I stare back, unable to remove my eyes. I can only just see his eyes, seeing as his hood is covering most of his face as does his fringe. "Alex!" I hear someone yell and turn my attention back to my friends, blinking a few times "Sorry, spaced out" I smile and start walking to the building with them, glancing back to where the boy was to see he isn't there anymore. I look down at the floor, pretty much confused as to what just happened. We all split up to go to our first lesson, we don't have each other for first but second I have Jade and Cassy. I walk to the back of the class room, I have English first, and sit down in the corner near the window.

"Alright class, we have a new student today. I'd like you all to be nice to him. This is Chase" The teacher announces as a lad walks in.... Honly Macaroni. Okay, so maybe he's a little hotter closer up. "Go find a seat" The teacher tells him, shit only seat left os next to me, damn you life. I move closer to the window as the lad sits down next to me Through out the whole lesson, the lad stares at me. He doesn't even do any work, what's his problem? I glance over at him, raising an eye brow but he still stares at me. I notice his black skinny jeans have some red splashes on them as does his blue skin tight tank top though his black hoodie covers most of them. I look away just as the bell goes and quickly stand, climbing over the lad and almost tripping. I rush out of class and gance back, seeing him following me. I walk faster and walk into Cassy

"Whoa, slow down there chick" She laughs and I walk with her to History, feeling more safe. Cassy has a crush on me and she has done since year 7 [grade 6]. Yes, she's bi, so what? We tried going out once, but things went wrong and we decided to just be friends. We walk into lesson and again we sit at the back. I look up and groan, Chase walks in and sits at the back but oppposite end. "What's wrong?" Cassy asks and I shake my head "Nothing, just lightheaded" I smile a little. As the lesson goes on, Chase stares again and Cassy holds her hand on my thigh. I'm use to it, shw always does. Since no-one can see, she makes me look at her and pecks my lips. I blush brightly and smile. I swear down I heard Chase growls.

The day goes pretty quickly, being stared at and followed around by new boy. I say good bye to my friends and put my hood up, walking home. I hear footsteps, great even followed home. As I near my house, my sister runs to me and wraps her arms around my waist "Alex!" She yells and giggles "hey there baby girl" I smile and pick her up, spinning her around "Some hot guy's staring at you" She whispers in my ear and I blush "Don't say anything, come on, in" I push her into the house and look back but the lad is nowhere to be seen. That boy has a serious problem
