Part 3

I woke up surrounded by someone's arms. I look up and see that Daniel had wrapped his arms around me and was snuggling into me. I looked beside me to see that Anna was taking pictures. I just gave her a pointed look. She put her hands up in defense " what!? You guys look adorable together!" She says as she shows me the picture.

I try to gently push his arms away but he instantly tightens them. "no" he says simply. I roll my eyes. "I have to get ready." I say. "no. you're sleeping beauty... emphasis on the 'Beauty' part." he said looking up at me. I blushed and tried to hide my red face that was almost glowing. He just reached under my chin and gently pulled up it to look at him. after a few seconds of staring into his eyes, I hear a camera go off and instantly look to Anna "Shit" she curses under her breath trying to turn the sound down. she then turns back to us ready to take another picture. Her face drops when she sees that we know she was taking pictures. she scrambles off the couch to get to safety. I grab her leg and she falls to the ground. Daniel and I laugh at her and she just punches me in the arm. I quickly jump up before Daniel has time to react and run to Anna's room, both of them following close behind. I shut the door once Anna was in and lock it. Daniel was banging on the door yelling "NO! I WANT MY CUDDLE BUDDY BACK!" he said sounding like a little kid. I pouted my lip at anna looking from the door to her, feeling bad for the munchkin. she rolled her eyes. she picked out an outfit from her wardrobe for me to wear since I left my clothes at my "Father's" place. I went down and saw Mrs.Seavey there. Strange. She's NEVER home. I walked down and she looked at me worriedly. She literally ran to me. You see, even though she's not home often, she was like a mother to me. She hugged me and told me that Daniel told her everything. I hugged her back and a few tears escaped. She pulled herself away from me and examined me. She even pulled up my shirt a little.she saw all the bruises and hugged me again, but gently. "You are such a caring pretty-" she got cut off by Daniel "Beautiful" he corrected. Then he turned a bit red. "Beautiful smart young lady. I'm so sorry you had to go through that." She told me sadly. Then she lit up. "I have an idea!" She said excitedly. "How about you go live in LA with Daniel? He's forming a band with about 4 other boys that have amazing talent as well. You will get away from the past and broken memories here, and make new ones over there!" She said happily. I was speechless. Of course I wanted to go, but what about Anna? "What about Anna?" I asked gesturing to her. I just couldn't leave her. "I guess we can visit every so often?" She said questioningly. Anna erupted in tears and gave me a big hug. I hugged her right back, crying just as much. "I'll miss you" I said quietly. "I'll miss you more" she said giggling a little. We went up to her room and talked for a bit. All of a sudden Daniel came in and joined our convo. "So the band is called Why Don't We and there are 5 boys (including myself)." He went on his phone for a few seconds and pulled up a picture of him and the other guys. "This is Jack, he's 18"

"This is Jonah, he's 19" he said pulling up another picture.

"This is Corbyn, he's 18" he said scrolling down a little.

"And this is Zach, he's 16"

"Cool" I said staring at his phone. "I think this is a good idea... moving in with me, I mean."  I nodded while lost in thought. Is it a good idea? I mean, I will be getting away from my horrible past, but in the horrible past were amazing people. I will get to meet new people and have new experiences and memories, but I will miss Anna too much. What if she finds another best friend? What is they new best friend is better than me? What if Anna forgets all about me? "J! It's ok! I will never forget about you and there is no one else in this world that understands me as well as you." Anna said to me. I realized I was breathing heavily and having a panic attack. She pulled me in for a hug and Daniel was just standing at the door way. "Is she ok?" He said to Anna walking towards me with an ice pack. I grabbed it from him and quickly placed it on my forehead. I could've  sworn I heard a sizzle. "Yes" Anna said relived. I made up my mind. I called everyone to the kitchen and had them sit at the table. "I've made up my mind" I said. All the attention was on me. "I'm going to LA, but wait! Don't be mad at me please Anna. I just think this is a good opportunity to clear my head a little. Make new memories, and forget about my past. I want a new start" I finished. Anna looked up at me. "I understand, but it's going to be hard. Especially for me. You've been here for me for so long and not having you here anymore will hurt." She said looking me in the eye tearing up. "I will never forget you, us, or our friendship. I will always be here-" I said pointing to where her heart is "even if I'm not here" I pointed down. We went upstairs to her room and I got my phone, charger, laptop, laptop charger, camera, and of course, camera charger. She lent me one of her suitcases and I cried as I packed. I was gonna miss this place so much. Not the memories, except the beautifully perfect ones, but it's where I grew up. Anna hugged me and brought my suitcase to the car for me. Daniel took the suitcase from her and held it quite high above her head, well, as high as he could. She kept jumping for it but he held it too high. All of a sudden she collapsed to the ground on her knees. She held her face in her hands and cried. Daniel set my suitcase down and rushed to her. He held her close to him and placed a kiss on her forehead. I almost cried. "we don't have to leave! We can stay here for a bit longer!" i suggested quickly. Anna shook her head. "no. I support your decision to leave. I want you to get away from here and actually have a good life" she told me sincerely. We were off to the airport in an instant. Daniel and i were about to get on the plane, when anna came up to us crying. We were all a crying mess. Well, except Daniel. He was only letting out small tears. We hugged her and said our goodbyes, and Daniel and I were off.
