Emma handed me the letter, I read."Wow..."
"If I go your going, ok? I am not going alone and I have no other friends that would go" Emma said in a bored voice
"Hahahaha, ok" I laughed
"Don't be judging me stark" she laughed
"hey! No more nicknames!" I laughed. We ended up laughing the whole way home. Me and Emma are neighbors, so we see each other quite often.
"Meet in the treehouse at 7:00 sharp?" Emma called as she walk backwards to her house.
"Yea, if my chores are done by then." I laughed. At 6:00 I grabbed a bunch of food and ran it to the treehouse, it was an old treehouse that the owners before us had built, it was pretty awesome and me and emma used it all the time, sometimes we did homework, other times we just hung out or played games because Emma put together a whole bunch of extension cords so we could play electronics and charge them. At seven we met at the treehouse.
"So, what are we gonna do about Jay's "party"" emma asked
"Nothing? I mean he's a loser that obviously believes those stupid rumors, we shouldn't go he'll be on our backs all night and get really annoying." I replied, I had been thinking about this and I was hoping Emma would listen.
"Well I dont know, I mean he has a huge house and who knows maybe we'll meet some cool people." Emma replied with a slight bit of nervousness in her voice, it wasn't a lot but it was there.
"... uhh- okay," I replied, I had promised her that I would support her opinions, and I had to stay for that if I wanted Emma to trust me, And I knew that if Emma trusted me I had a chance at dating her.
