CHAPTER 5

When we arrived at the park we sat in the grass and started talking. We got on the subject of our best and worst dates. I said "I have never been on a worst date than when I was with a guy named John because he took me out to a fancy dinner and after we were done eating he said 'I don't like you anymore I hate you and I never want to speak to you again' and after he said that, I got up and left and turned around and saw him sucking faces with that girl named Shannon that was at my house earlier and a week after that he wanted to get back together because they broke up!" All the guys looked at me with sorrow on their faces and liam mumbled "I would never do that to you." I just smiled at them and Lacey looks at me and nods in the direction behind me. I turn around and find my other friend Michelle. I yell her name and she didn't respond so I got up and called her 'Shelly' and she turns around and laughs! I lead her back and had her sit in between Lacey and I. I saw Harry's and Louis's eyes almost pop out of their head when they saw her. I just gave them a weird look and that made the stop. I introduced them to her and her to them. Louis and Harry immediately start a conversation with her and Lacey, Niall, Liam, Zayn, and I started our own conversation. I noticed that Harry and Louis asked Michelle if she wanted to go for a walk and she said yes. Harry got up and said " Louis, Michelle, and I are going for a walk!" The rest of us nodded and they left. I heard screaming and I turned around and found Shannon beating someone up. I got up and everyone else did too. I walk over there and ripped her off of the girl and started to pound her face in "you mother fucker if you want to pick a fight, pick a fight with someone your own size!!!!!" I said in between punches. Probably about 10 minutes went by before Liam and Zayn pulled me off of her. I looked at them and back at Shannon and she had a bloody nose, two black eyes and her whole face is now bruised! She got up and said to my face "You are going to regret this short stuff!" "I think you are the one going to regret it because I can take you on any day and any time with no hesitation!" She got up in my face and said "Bitch!"and slapped me. I looked at her for a while and I punched her in the gut and as she went down I grabbed her head and slammed it in to my knee, then I shoved her to the ground and walked away. Lacey comes up to me and tells me "Calm down she deserved that now calm down its only going to make you madder if you keep thinking about it!" Niall said "Is anyone hungry because I am starving!??" I laughed and said "Sure, where are we going to eat!?" He said "I packed a picnic basket with a lot of food. Now let's go eat it before I starve myself just thinking about it!!!!!" I said " Sure you are going to starve but I am positive you ate this morning. I didn't so who do you think is hungrier!??" "I am!!" Niall said with a laugh. We all started to laugh and when we got back we ate almost everything until Louis and Harry came back with no Michelle! I asked "Where is Michelle!?" and Louis answered "She had to go home her mom called. Can I say she is H-O-T, HOT!!!!!" Harry looked at him and smacked him across the back of the head and said "She is mine, not yours and never will be!!!!" He looked at us and saw the food and said "You guys started to eat without us!?" Then I said "Well if you weren't flirting with Michelle we probably would have waited, but no you were too busy so we decided to eat!!" Harry rolls his eyes and sat down. He saw Louis was already eating and he he went to go reach for a sandwich. There was none left! He looked at me and saw the last sandwich sitting on my lap and said "Are you going to eat that?" pointing to the sandwich sitting on my lap. I said "No." "Well can I have it then?", he asked. I said "No." "Why!?", he asked with a weird face. "Because!", I said. "Well if you don't give it to me I am going to take it because me stomach is eating me!" I held out the sandwich and just when he was about to grab it, I pulled it away and laughed at his facial expression. I did it again, then he tried to tackle me but I was too quick and got up. Then he started to chase me and I ran around the group and handed the sandwich to Liam. Harry didn't notice and kept chasing me I fell and landed on my back and Harry landed on top of me and said in between breaths "Now can I have the sandwich!?!?" "No because I don't have it!", I said in between breaths. "Then who has it!?" he said getting off of me. I pointed to Liam. Harry went over and Liam gave him the sandwich. I remained lying where I was and Liam came over and sat next to me and asked "Are you ok?" I nodded. "Then why don't you come back?" he asked. I said "No." "Why?" he asked. "Because I'm too lazy to get up and walk over there!" Liam looks at me and says "I'll carry you if that means you get to come back with me!" I looked at him and smiled. He picked me up and carried me over and I heard Lacey say "Wow you are LAZYYYY!!!!!!!!" I smiled and said "Why yes, yes I am!!" she just rolled her eyes at me and I pretended like I didn't notice. Liam pulled me into a hug and we started to pack up. Harry carried the basket back to my house and when I went inside they all followed and I saw a note on the counter saying 'I won't be home tonight because I went out with Aimee and I'm staying with her at a hotel in Texas for two weeks. Behave and if you need me you know my cell number. Love you, mom.' Liam looks over my shoulder and read it and said "Are you ok!?" "Yeah why shouldn't I be? She always leaves and complains that I can't go to college because we don't have the money, yet she has money to stay in the nicest hotels around for 2-5 weeks at a time! Yet with about 2 times that she leaves I could have enough money to go to college and have some money left over to buy a brand new car!!! She's a heavy drinker and a gambler. That's where all our money goes and yet she complains that we don't have any money!! So yeah, I am completely fine, just fine!" He stares at me for a couple of minutes while everyone is in the living room is watching tv. I break down crying. Normally I don't cry. I keep my composer until I am home alone and in my room. No one has seen me cry except for Lacey not even my own mother has seen me cry! He pulls me into a hug and I snuggle in to him as he holds me tight. We just stay there till I am done crying and I say "Thanks, I needed that." "I will do anything you need me to do. I love you!!", Liam says. "I love you too Liam!", I say with a smile. "Will you be my girlfriend?", he asks a shyly. I say "Yes!!" and we look at each other. He pulls me in for a kiss and I wrapped my arms around his neck and he mumbled into the kiss "I love you." We kiss for what seemed like forever and when I pull away to breath, he put his forehead to mine and said "I have been waiting for someone like you all of my life!!" He kisses me again and we walk out of the kitchen hand in hand and sit on the couch. I snuggled into him and saw that Lacey had snuggled into Niall and both of them were sleeping. Liam and I watched random shows and eventually I fell asleep in Liams arms.
