The big, glossy eyes of an owl peered at me through the window. Knowing that they were always there, I had to get away somewhere. I ran down the stairs to get the phone and call my friend to ask if I could stay at her house that night, This was just getting way too creepy. Was it normal for an owl to behave like that? I grabbed my bag off my bed, and left the house, I had no time to think about a stupid owl, although I did enjoy having it around sometimes. I would talk about school, crushes, almost everything to it. Yes, I talked to an owl, only because it seemed to understand and listen to me.
I had only been walking for a little while when I realized the owl was following me. I had just stopped to look up when, it swooped down, and with a poof of smoke a young man appeared in front of me. He had short-layered brown hair and golden-honey coloured eyes. I felt my mouth fall wide open; I could hear my heart getting faster, feel my face turning red. This guy had seen me change! I wanted to scream, but my voice wouldn't allow me. I must have been in shock
" Hello, Shayla." He said.
He had a velvety voice. He looked into my eyes and I looked back, knowing this must have been what you would call love at first sight.
