Dear Diary,
I don't want to be here. I want to get out of this place. I want to see my family. I want to know where they are. Are they even alive? I don't think I will ever know...
I'm not a shoe maker, but I volunteered for this. I have been told by my friend who works alongside me that, the ones who volunteer are the ones who live... so does this mean my parents are dead...
He told me that the shower the others get sent to aren't really showers. They are gas chambers... They can kill people in about 15 minutes. They are sent in, knowing that they will get cleaned up and take a shower. But the thing they don't know is that they will not make it out of those very showers alive.
I'm scared as to what they will do to me, once they are done with me. Will they send me through the very same showers?
