Found him.
My eyes snap open as I feel his footsteps through the earth.
Idiot, if he wanted to hide from me, he'll have to do better than that.
I dash of, wind whipping my hair around me as the cold wind streaks past.
I dodge tree's as go, vibrations hitting me harder and harder.
He's close.
A small crystal stream appears ahead, forcing me to jump from the earth, losing the trail.
That boy, he did this on purpose, leading me to where he can disappear.
I won't give up that easy, not for someone I love.
I can't let him fall like I once did.
After what feels like hours, I see a familiar white flames flicker on front of me.
Orion.
Pace quickening, I dash after his fading form.
"Orion, stop now. Please!" I yell, his not freezing at the sound of my voice.
Slowly he turns to face me, those eyes I love so much empty of all emotion.
"Leave Celeste, you can't save me. What I've done is unforgivable, and you know it."
"That doesn't mean you can't be saved. After all we have been through, do you think we will just let you leave? Not a chance in enderlight."
I can see the pain enter his eyes as I speak, deep inside him wishing what I say is true.
"Please-Celeste, where are you?" I hear Celion yell.
Instantly his guard goes up, face once again blank as the starling prince calls.
Celion, why now of all times do you call. I can feel Orion start to close up again, and desperate hope fills me.
"Your little boy toy wants you, and it's time for me to go, after all, dark and light don't mix" he say sarcastically, hatred and sorrow lacing his voice.
My last hopes fade with his words, knowing them to be true. Now he is dark, and im light. We are supposed to hate each other and yet, I cant. Here I am trying to save him still.
My eyes start to sting as I reach out for him, one last time.
His eyes close as my hands falls to rest on his arm, a flash of sadness on his face before he rips his hand away, turning into the forest once more.
No. Is all I can think as I hear the bowstring pull back behind me, knowing it must be celion.
No no no, he can't kill him. How did he get here so quickly, how did I not hear him? If he misses, Orion will kill him. Stupid stupid prince.
Everything slows as I turn my eyes landing on the prince as the arrow flies free.
It rotates in the air before flying straight towards Orions head.
His hand snaps in the air as he turns, grabbing the arrow in front of his throat.
Pure rage fills his eyes as white flames flicker on front of his eyes and body, wrapping around in beautiful tendrils of death.
The arrow lights as he throws it at the speed of light back at him.
Without even thinking, I launch into the air, arrow piercing my heart. The flames start consuming my being as an agonized scream erupts from my lips.
The last thing I see is those white and red eyes, horror filling them, and fold tears falling from there depths.
Goodbye.
