DoveSpirit again.
DoveSpirit woke up, it was still dark out. She walked into CherryThroats den and found that there was a pile of traveling herbs right beside where CherryThroat was sleeping. Or at least they looked like traveling herbs. DoveSpirit bent down and sniffed them. Hmm. Smells like... burnet, chamomile, daisy, and sorrel! These are traveling herbs! She thought. DoveSpirit would know, she used to train as a medicine cat apprentice. She knew traveling herbs and the basics of herbs. "Do you need anything? The traveling herbs are right there" mumbled CherryThroat, half asleep and half awake.
"No, all is good here. I found the herbs. Oh, and thanks!" DoveSpirit meowed as she padded out of the den. She ate the fowl tasting herbs and then set off in her journey all alone. But Little did she know. "Hmm, I hope I don't run into any RainClan patrols" she said. Then she realized she was talking to herself, or she thought. She heard a rustle in the bushes. What was that!? She thought. She smelled the air, Oh, it's just a mouse. She let out a sigh of relief. She sat in a Hunters crouch, making sure her tail wasn't up in the air or brushing the ground, she started quietly stalking the prey. She put her paws down slow and quietly. Finally she saw the mouse, poking its mouse nose into the ground. She crept a little closer and... POUNCED!!! She killed the mouse swiftly with a bite to the neck. She carried the mouse over to a little hole in a tree trunk. She squeezed into the trunk and ate the mouse quietly. When she was done she kept going. Every step she took she was aware some cat was watching her. She padded dover to a cliff and smelt the air. Another cat! Then she heard a snap of a twig. "Who's there?" She asked aloud. No one answered. She crept closer to where she heard the twig snap. Then she heard a rustle in the bush behind her. She whipped around. Then before the cat could move again, she pounced into the bushes where the cat was.
