Chapter 1- New Begining

Dawn’s P.O.V

Did you ever imagine just falling? Yeah I said just falling, falling many feet down and the world just seems to disappear into thin air. The feeling of freedom and just knowing that at any minute you could just land down on the ground. Then you just crash down to the ground lifeless, but free.  Like all your worries just left you, you left them on Earth while you floated to heaven with no worries at all just freedom and happiness for the rest of eternity. This may seem possibly insane but to me it’s just a dream. A dream I’ve wanted for a long time but soon it will be over, I know this dream will never happen, the people in my dreams tell me it just won’t happen 5 strangers tell me this 5 strangers seem to be watching my every move with their glowing red eyes. They’re there and they will always be there.

            “Wake up before I scream in your face,” yelled Erika. “Fine I’m up” I yelled throwing my abnormally large pillow at her face. “Hey!” I stuck my tongue out at her and got up. I looked around checking for any hints of people watching…. Any who I’m Dawn I’m only 18 and let me get one thing clear I don’t think I’m pretty or any of those things sluts keep telling themselves to make them happy I’m just plain old me. As I look around I sigh. Erika and me have been living in this place since we were both 4 years old. We both would sneak out of the dump (a.k.a orphanage) and come to this old abandoned home. Finally I turned 18 and I could get out of the orphanage. I spent one year without Erika since well right now she’s 19. I got up and looked around I’ve only been here in this house for a little over a month, the place-looked great we remolded it when I was 17when we could both get jobs.

            I opened the door to my closet and picked out a grey long sleeve shirt and coral skinny jeans. I put the clothes on top of my blue bed and ran into the bathroom. As I stripped off my clothes I felt a slight murmur of voices but I chose to ignore it. After I got out I rapped myself in the towel and went out of the bathroom to my room. I put on my undergarments and then my clothes. I looked as cute as a button. I put on my grey boots and did my hair in a side fishtail braid. As I walk down the stairs I see Erika making breakfast, hum… She usually only makes breakfast when theirs bad news or someone is here. I tapped my chin and sat on the island. “Get your booty of my counter,” yelled Erika chuckling. “Well if we had chairs I would sit on them but we don’t so my booty stays planted,” I said in a serious tone but then burst in to a fit of laughter. “Come on eat up you got to get to school then you have got to go to our job,” Erika said in very motherly tone. “Fine mother,” I said quickly and before she could say anything else I grabbed my backpack and ran to the silent streets.

I ran toward Grant High school as quick as possible. RING! “Damn I’m late again!” I yelled into the quiet hallway. I felt weird all of a sudden; I felt a wind blow near me. My heart was pounding against my chest the memory of the nightmare or vision whatever it was but one thing is true it was the worst thing I have ever witnessed. I looked at the school’s clock but it said I was 2 hours early. Huh that was strange. Suddenly I felt a tap on my shoulder and saw 10 glowing red eyes on me, I didn’t even bother to look at their faces I ran for my life. As I kept running I saw the same 5 strangers in front of me. “UHHHHH!” I yelled in pure anger. I mean come on first these things or whatever make me wake up early then they chase me and don’t let me forget the sleepless nights! Why wont they leave me alone! “Because we need you,” one of them said. “First why and second did you just read my mind?” “ Wow she’s slow,” the other one said. “I am not” I said deeply offended. “Well I got to go back home” I told them trying to get away from them as soon as possible “Your not going anywhere your coming with us” One with a deep voice said. Oh boy why me.

As they dragged me along with them we stopped at a bright red mini van. “Go in please so we can show you who we are already” one of them said. “Yay now I can file a police report” I said sarcastically. “Just get in” one said clearly annoyed. “Fine” I told them already tired of arguing. As I got in they came in after me. They took of the fog veil thingy and I couldn’t believe my sweet blue eyes they were H-O-T hot omg. Wait what I did not just think that. “Thanks and yes you did,” said the one with a buzz-cut. “I’m Louis,” said the one with the blue eyes and brown hair “and these are Niall, Harry, Liam, and Zayn” “Um hi” I said unsurely. “So the reason I called you slow is because-“ I cut him off “Your vampires” I said not clearly knowing why I blurted it out. “Ok I guess you aren’t” said Louis. “Well you should get to rest we have a long drive before we get to London” said Harry. “LONDON! What about Erika I’m not leaving her behind… wait a second your One Direction that band she keeps talking about” “Yep” he responded. “Any way back to what we are talking about NO WAY IN BLOODY HELL AM I LEAVING LANCASTER!” I yelled quite so loudly they were covering their ears. I’m quite proud of that actually until they growled and I mean literally growled at me. “Guess we have to do something about her sleeping aye Niall” said Liam “Yep” he answered looking at me strait in the eyes. Soon all I saw was pitch-dark blackness…
