PLEASE TAKE A MOMENT TO READ
this story will contain the idea of:

-depression

-suicide

-drugs

if you are sensitive to any of those three things, please do not read.

i am here to inform, not to intentionally hurt.

erica million was a 16 year old girl 10th grader at new castle high school in pittsburgh, PA. she overdosed on oxycodone tablets during school and was found unconscious by the end of '7th period' in her classroom. she was pronounced dead that sunday at 1:28 am. this happened 10 years ago.

i want to give a second to maybe send a prayer out to the family of this young girl, her soul rests in peace and the tragedy, though it happened so long ago really inspired me to make a tribute. at san dieguito academy, the school my brother attended and graduated from in 2016, a transgender boy named sage committed suicide in early 2015.

at torrey pines, the school legit down the street from my high school a 15 year old boy named jacob was shot by the police in the torrey pines parking lot when he pulled a bb gun on them and they mistaked it for an actual gun and shot him down. later, they found a suicide note in his pocket on the scene.

there is always help for you, no matter what you're going through. talk to your school counselor if you really can't trust anyone else, they're really great people to resort to.

also, i am always here to talk, i'm not a health professional but i am a human living person that has ears to listen, and a heart to understand.

you deserve life, your life has a purpose. the reason your heart is still beating is because your life isn't ready to end.

suicide knocks out the factor and chance of any of your problems ever growing into something that will one day make you stronger, and the chance of them getting better.

                                                    EVERYTHING GETS BETTER.

suicide does not end the pain, it just passes it on to someone else.

if you or someone you know is in suicidal crisis call 1-800-273-8255.

this short story is dedicated to erica, sage, and jacob and their families. thank you for reading.
