Lucy's POV

As I sat in the guild reading, I felt a sudden jolt as a familiar hand grasped my shoulder, "AHH, NATSU!", I stood up and pushed him away, "Please don't just put yourself on me like that!"
Natsu's eyes widened at my anger, "Hold on... why'd u push me?!" And with that I marched away, not even glancing back.
Why can't I get these thoughts out of my mind? Why do I still feel like this?

Natsu's POV

Why'd Lucy avoid me like that, did I do something wrong?!
"Natsu I'm sick of this! Stop acting like an idiot!" I heard a familiar ice mage's voice. I looked confused towards Gray and wondered if he saw what happened. With Gray seeing my confused look he added, "I know you like Lucy! And can't you tell how Lucy's feeling?! Cause is pretty obvious you dense idiot!"
Gray knows I like her? But I told no one! And what does he mean it's obvious how she's feeling... I can't tell at all...

Lucy's POV

After that stressful day, I had a nice, long, peaceful sleep. I made my way threw the guild doors that morning only to hear everyone talking...
"Hey I've heard Natsu has a crush on some girl!"
"No way, he's the last person I'd think to be hooking up with some girl!"
"It's true! Everyone's heard him saying things like "I need to see her!"."
Oh no, that girl, that girl... is me. No doubt about it. I began to panic again with my face turning as red as a tomato. Well it's not like I hate him, I just don't think it would work out...
Suddenly my mind took over and I had some weird thoughts... "I wanna see you." I imagined Natsu saying while imagining his perfect hunky body. Oh no, what's gotten into me! Why are all here crazy thoughts running threw my brain!
"Hey you alright?", I snapped out of my trance and turned to face Natsu.
"Yea I guess.."
"Can you meet me at Southgate park tonight? There's something important I gotta tell ya!", Natsu declared in a calm voice.
Oh no oh no oh no. I began to tremble even more, "y-yea I c-can d-o th-that, b-but can y-ou t-tell me w-why?"
"All I'm gonna tell you is that it's important... and make sure you come alone tonight...", Natsu says as he scratches his face, and out of he corner of my eye I notice... is he?? Blushing?
My heart began to beat faster than it's every gone before, I just stood there blushing and blushing even more each second.
"Well see ya then!", I heard the last words of the pink haired hunk before he sprinted out of the guild.

Back to Lucy's appartement

Sitting in my bathtub, my thoughts were jumbled up in my head. What do I do? He wants to confess! I can't let this happen! I guess I'll just have to let him down, it'll probably make things awkward though...
Hey! This is the perfect time to wear my new dress! WAIT WHATS WRONG WITH ME I CANT LOOK HOT IT WILL MAKE IT WORSE! Oo I know...
I summoned Cancer, making sure my hair's looking great for tonight! Wait I shouldn't be doing this!!!
And suddenly, my mind took over again and...
"Hey Luce", Natsu greeted me in a hunky voice, "Let's have 33 babies together, k?"
"WHYD I DREAM THAT UP?!", I screamed out loud, and good thing only Plue was there to listen to me complain.
"Dont go falling in the river with that dress you got! Don't wanna mess it up for your date!", the fisherman stated at me... hey! What does he mean date!!
Oh no, this Is bad, i can't have a crush on him!!!
I finally reached the spot where Natsu asked to meet... there's no need to be nervous right? It's not like this is really important...right?
"Hey Luce! You came! I almost thought u weren't gonna show up!", I heard the voice of Natsu as he popped out from behind the tree.

Natsu's POV
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Wow... Lucy looks... wow. It was finally time to say how I felt. I tried my best to stay calm, and surprisingly it was going pretty well...
"S-so what'd you wanna tell me?", Lucy stuttered.
I didn't reply for a moment, her sweet strawberry and vanilla scent filled my nostrils and I got distracted by her beauty...
"W-Well I've been meaning to tell you this for a while a-and I-I..", Lucy's eyes widened, waiting for the response, but the words just wouldn't spill out of my mouth. My jaw was dropped but I couldn't say the words, I was still to nervous...
But I don't need to say the words, I just need to...
Suddenly I felt my lips upon hers, my mind led me to do so and I did not regret it. I grabbed Lucy's waist pulling her closer and at first she did nothing, but after a few seconds she placed her arms around my neck and kissed me back.
After what felt like a long time, the kiss ended... wow... I really did it, and she kissed me back.
"I love you Lucy.", I say confidently,
now knowing I have nothing to hide.
"I love you too, Natsu.", she said with a soft smile, leaving one last peck on my lips.
