A/N: Please keep in mind the story is going based off of the Getaway Tour schedule. I was skeptical about uploading this chapter due to the tragic event happening at Texas (the next chapter will still be in the same location and that's it). I hope you guys don't take this the wrong way! 😅💗

Aubrey's POV | January 6, 2017

It was the first break day from the tour. The crew, the band, and I were all meeting up for breakfast. At first I felt intimidated because I wouldn't find anyone to hang out with in the tour. Luckily that fear never came true and I got along with everyone else. There weren't as much female crew members on here, but it wasn't that big of an issue. I just saw the rest of the crew guys as my new adopted brothers.

I was extremely shy when I'm with the band! I'm aware that they're just any regular human like us, but I can't help to see them as gods. It was a little awkward between us. We had small talks here and there and we carried on with other things. As much as I wanted to get close with them - I don't think it will happen. They just probably see me as the annoying writer who has to be up on their asses in order to make a living.

Their touring manager ordered a large room downstairs at the hotel we were staying at. I stepped into the room and the food were displayed towards the wall and there was one long table for us. We all stood in line for breakfast and once we got our food we had to quickly find our seat. I was seated down, but there was an empty seat next to me on the left side.

My clumsy ass dropped my fork towards the right side as I was about to eat. By the time I got up Josh appeared next to me! Internally I began to panic. Okay, I don't eat like a pig. Keep yourself nice and clean. Stay calm. Don't eat with your mouth open. Remember your table manners!

"Hey Aubrey! I hope you don't mind me sitting next to you," Josh greets me.

"Oh, h-h-hi Josh. I didn't recognize you t-there. I mean! Like I did see you! But I didn't expect to see you here. No, wait- uh-"

Josh laughs, "you don't need to nervous around me." He wraps his arm around my shoulder. "Remember I'm no big celebrity; I'm just Josh."

I begin to lightly blush to myself as I felt his touch. I can feel my back heating up and my palms getting a little sweaty. Why am I feeling like this? Just ignore it. Remember, the guys like to be touchy when they're comfortable with you. It's not that big of a deal.

"I'm sorry. You must hate that feeling, and probably me hahaha." I laughed awkwardly.

"No, of course not! I don't hate you! None of us do. We're glad that you're tagging along with us. Don't think so negatively!" Then Josh mumbles, "I wish I can take that advice."

I let out a breath of relief, "thanks, that made me feel so much better."

We both gave each other an assuring smile. As we kept our smile, I just realized his arm was still in the same area.

"You know, you have the brightest smile I have ever seen."

I look away quickly as I blushed again. "T-t-thanks." I bit my lip and felt a slight rumble from my stomach. "I guess we should eat our good. Wouldn't want it to go cold."

Josh quickly removes himself from me, "you're right. Let's eat up!"

As we were having our breakfast, we were all talking and having a great time! It was a bunch of storytelling and a laughing fest. I had fun getting know everyone else on a deeper scale. The only time I felt out was when they all talked about their families. Chad, Flea, Anthony and everyone else were sharing their kids stories. Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed listening to them! But it goes back to my friends and family's bickering me to have my own offsprings.
