"The Weak Girl"
The most vulnerable fear pain
Hiding fresh flesh under masks
Rehearsed my lines a hundred times
Only knowing pain when you refused
To listen
To understandLook at your daughter in the eye
Ridicule her childish dream
Tell her she's silly, slap her to reality
And you beg her to understand? So when I walked put to cry alone
Know that your toungue lashed out all the strength in her weak hopeful heart
Confused, tired, sullenYou wouldn't look her in the eye
You laughed when she left
And you beg her to understand?
